Cane Thinks About Trusting Phyllis with His Secret Project

Cane Ashby has a secret — and it’s a big one. He’s been working on a special AI program, a kind of computer software that can think and learn on its own. But lately, Cane hasn’t had the best reputation in town. People are upset because of the stories Newman Media has been publishing about him.

Feeling cornered and wanting to fix his image, Cane meets with Phyllis Summers at the GCAC bar. Phyllis, who’s always clever with technology, listens as Cane shares his idea. He wants her to use his AI software to show the world that he’s not a bad guy.

Phyllis likes the challenge — after all, she’s great at turning things around. But she’s also cautious. The software Cane built is powerful, maybe even too powerful. It was once meant to take over some of the biggest companies in Genoa City. If it ended up in the wrong hands, it could cause major trouble.

Cane insists that this time, he wants to do something good. He wants to use the AI to help people and to prove to Lily Winters and his kids that he’s changed.

Phyllis smiles and agrees to help — but only on one condition. She wants Cane to hand over the AI program to her.

Cane hesitates. Could he really trust Phyllis with something this big? What if she decided to use it for herself instead of helping him?

Noah Newman’s Terrifying Car Crash

Nick Newman is preparing to travel to Los Angeles to visit Sharon and their son, Noah. But just as he’s getting ready to go, he stops by the ranch to tell Victor Newman, his father, about his plans.

Victor isn’t happy at first. He wants all hands on deck to handle the story Newman Media just released about Cane. But when he sees how worried Nick is, he agrees to let him go.

Just as Nick is about to leave, he gets a phone call that freezes him in place. It’s Sharon, and she’s crying. Her voice is shaking, and Nick can barely understand what she’s saying at first. Then it hits him — Noah has been in a terrible car accident in Los Angeles.

Sharon tells Nick that Noah is in the hospital and that things don’t look good. He’s fighting for his life.

Victor, hearing the news, tells Nick to take the Newman jet and get to L.A. as fast as he can. He promises that he and Nikki will stay by the phone, waiting for updates.

Nick rushes to the airport, his heart heavy with fear and worry. The thought of losing his son makes him desperate to reach Sharon’s side as soon as possible.

Celebration Turns to Tension at Society

Back in Genoa City, Adam Newman and Chelsea Lawson are in a different mood. They’re celebrating the success of the hit piece they just published about Cane. It’s brought Newman Media a lot of attention — though not the good kind for Cane.

While they’re toasting to their success at Society, Victoria Newman walks in. She joins them but isn’t in a party mood. She’s more worried about Claire, who’s currently in Los Angeles spending time with Holden Novak.

Before they can talk much more, Kyle Abbott shows up. He looks serious and asks Victoria if she knows where Claire is staying in L.A. He admits that he wants to win her back and plans to fly out there.

Victoria frowns. She tells Kyle that Claire needs space and that chasing her right now isn’t the answer. She refuses to give him the address. Kyle, frustrated, storms off — but something in his eyes makes it clear he’s not giving up that easily.
