Fans of The Young and the Restless seem to be in agreement regarding the direction of Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) and Mariah Copeland (Cameron Grimes). Those who watch the CBS soap do not desire to see another surrogate storyline. Viewers disliked the method of bringing Dominic Chancellor into the world and watching the toll it took on Mariah who was the surrogate mom. "Please no more surrogate storylines,, especially if the donor is going to be Noah, if so I hope Sharon can talk Noah out of another bad storyline that I am tired of seeing and these writers don't have the intelligence to close the first one".

"I agree with you, the first surrogacy storyline was bad enough, we don't need a second one. If anything, I hope Tessa and Mariah go down the adoption route because I really liked what Tessa said about it. But I'm still not convinced that they should be focused on a child right now" ...

Y&R fans also do not like the fact that Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) might be getting ready to sue for his rights as the baby's biological father. Viewers feel this storyline has gone on for too long and needs to come to an end. The consensus is that Devon should leave Abby Newman Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) and Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) alone and move on with his life. Fans want Mariah and Tessa to adopt rather than go through another surrogate drama especially if Noah Newman (Rory Gibson) might be the bio dad.

Those who watch The Young and the Restless feel that Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) has been lying this whole time about his sickness. Most fans do not believe he was ever dying and question why Victoria never goes to the doctor with him. Burgi recently signed a new contract so he will be sticking around at least for the next year. Victoria is supposed to get some good news soon and viewers believe it will be that her husband is no longer dying but he probably never was. Fans are also questioning Dr. Nate Hastings who went along blindly with Ashland's story and ended up the best man at the wedding. None of this makes sense and those who watch the soap are saying they want the whole truth out in the open.
