The Walking of a Nation Review

SonyLiv is an elephant in content but an ant in marketing. I mean, their shows come and go, and nobody gets to know. Now another show has come in this list whose name is The Walking of a Nation. Now, how was this show? Let's find out.

Well, in this show, you get to see the story of the Jallianwala massacre. After that massacre, a hunter commission came which started investigating it completely. Now in this investigation, there was also a lawyer whose name is Kantilal Sahni. So will he be able to uncover this whole secret or not? To know this, you will have to watch the show which has already come on SonyLIV.

It has six episodes and the length of each episode varies from 45 to 55 minutes.

The Walking of a Nation Review

Now, if I review the show The Walking of a Nation in one line for you, then yes, it is a good show.

Meaning, that there should be a complete vibe in a show, there should be a fun factor, there should be tension, no doubt all that stuff is here.

See, friends, the Jallianwala massacre was such a heinous act that we shudder even thinking about it. The way we got to see everything in that entire heinous crime, how it was rewound and the manner of its investigation, was nice to see.

Yes, like every show, this show also has its flaws, there are some flaws that we cannot deny, but despite that, the way the show has progressed and the way it has ended, it was nice to see it again.

See, first of all, the authenticity that has been maintained is very good, it is the time era of 1919 and the way that that era has been brought alive here was very good, its art design, set design, and production value are top-notch, which shifts you to that era and you are completely feeling the authenticity that should be there, so I liked that.

Why do white people hate brown people so much, why do they feel that they don't know civilization, they don't have manners and it is the duty of us, the British, to teach them, so when all these things come on screen, you will immediately think to the British that what kind of people these were.

Apart from this, the good thing is that the story ends in the first season itself, which means this is a limited show, you don't have to wait for season 2.

The way the Jallianwala Bagh massacre has been presented here is top-notch, which means that when you see those visuals if your eyes do not fill up, I will stop writing content. Some lost their children, some lost their parents, some lost their friends, and some lost their life partners.

All the actors who were taken here have played their roles with a lot of heart and soul.

I liked the music.

Ram Madhvani has brought this show, so salute to him as well.

Although the names of some characters have been fictionalised there are some events which you are going to feel are fictionalised too.

But the good thing is that we did not see any pointless propaganda here. Initially, I thought that this might be going ahead in a propaganda way, but no, that did not happen at all.

Conclusion

This show will be worth your time, you will enjoy it and you will be impressed by it.

There is no need for parental guidance here, you don't see any abuse, vulgarity, nothing.

So this was my review of The Walking of a Nation web series. Hope you enjoy it.

See you later.
