The Traitors USA Season 4 Episode 3 Recap: “Show Me Your Faces”
Who is banished in episode 3 of Traitors?

Here I will dive into The Traitors US Season 4, Episode 3, ominously titled “Show Me Your Faces.”
If you missed the previous recaps, they’re all here:
Now, let’s get into the chaos.
Breakfast Fallout: Who’s Accusing Who?
It’s a fresh morning at the castle, and everyone rolls in still rattled from the night before. Ian is gone, Porsche was banished, and the secret traitor shortlisted Monae, Rob, Tara, and Kristen for Murder in Plain Sight.
Right away, Caroline and Jim Jam have their sights set on Ron. Meanwhile, Colton is firmly convinced Michael is shady — and Jam Jam backs that up.
Candace arrives dressed like the world’s coziest police officer, while Donna is just relieved to still be breathing in the castle. Tiffany pulls Michael aside, explaining she only voted for him because she panicked and felt pressured by Jam Jam. Michael… accepts this? Kind of?
The shortlisted players stroll in last — as usual — joined by traitor Lisa. But notably no RobC.
Cue flashback: reptile Rob and Lisa decide RobC is too sharp a player to leave alive. His card gets torched.
RobC is genuinely shocked. He thought he was gaming the murder-in-plain-sight twist. He was wrong. And he vows revenge — in the afterlife, apparently.
And just like that, RobC is gone.
RobC’s Exit: A Huge Missed Opportunity
Fans (myself included) were extremely excited to see RobC back after his completely unfair Survivor 50 cut. He should have been cast as a traitor or secret traitor. Making him a faithful with limited influence didn’t allow him to shine.
He played thoughtfully, delivered strong confessionals, and clearly understood the structure of the Murder in Plain Sight mechanic thanks to his experience designing social strategy games on his channel.
He just wasn’t loud enough about it — and this format punishes subtle brilliance.
Plus, I’m convinced he had some funny, chaotic banter with Allen that we never saw. Another fumble by production in a season with some… questionable casting choices.
Breakfast Drama Escalates
Candace leads a toast to RobC. Michael immediately starts stirring the pot, implying Jam Jam’s behavior is suspicious. This erupts into a loud argument where Michael declares himself a “Grade A trash-talker” but insists he means no offense.
Sure, Jan.
Then Allen waltzes in looking like a banana-colored Vecna, smashes RobC’s portrait, and announces a surprise round table on the spot.
Also, best dressed at breakfast once again goes to Mora. Leopard print jacket, matching vest, gloves, hat… she’s serving couture intimidation, and I love it.
Pre–Round Table Scramble
Everyone scatters to scheme.
- Tiffany pulls Michael into a secret room to coach him on being nicer to Jam Jam.
- Tiffany + Michael both think Jam Jam is the traitor and want him gone.
- Colton refuses to budge off Donna — he’s convinced catching Donna will expose Ron too.
- Candace and Monae agree Ron and Donna are working together.
- Stanbury pushes for Donna, then gets awkwardly quiet when Donna walks in and overhears.
Donna tries to redirect suspicion onto Michael, pointing out that Rob voted for Michael right before being murdered.
Surprise Round Table: Donna’s Time Runs Out
Allen’s outfit now includes a train. I hate it.
Candace opens the discussion by noting Ron swayed the last round table. Rob and Lisa both cosign that. Odd that the traitors are so eager to dogpile Ron this early.
Colton redirects everything to Donna, and suddenly the spotlight is blazing on her.
Donna tries to defend herself but struggles. She says Michael is acting loud and dragging attention away from real threats. Michael responds by… getting louder.
Jam Jam asks Michael who he suspects. Michael says, “Jam Jam,” again. Everyone groans.
And then the most childish moment of the episode: Michael sings
“If you’re a traitor and you know it, clap your hands.”
Everyone dies inside.
The vote goes down:
- Michael votes Jam Jam
- Donna votes Michael
- Everyone else votes Donna
Donna is banished — and reveals she was the secret traitor all along.
Flashback: Donna gets her card, decides to be sweet mom by day and devious traitor by night, and consistently shortlists quiet, low-profile players.
Donna’s Exit: Did She Even Want to Be There?
Donna was heavily hyped when the cast list dropped. And I believe she wanted to be there at first.
But by Episode 3, she seemed overwhelmed, exhausted, and pretty miserable. I honestly suspect production moved up the round table to let her bow out gracefully.
The “traitors will meet the secret traitor” twist never happened. The challenge was clearly designed for even numbers. And Donna just looked done.
Casting her as the secret traitor was probably a mistake. She’d have been better as a known traitor from Episode 1 — fewer decisions, less pressure, more support.
Still, she handled it better than expected.
Reptile Rob hilariously proclaims he wants to marry Donna Kelsey. Same, honestly.
Challenge Time: The Cage Match
Allen tells the group to pair up — no one wants to be the odd player out.
Colton declares himself a “traitor hunter.” Sure, buddy.
Players scramble for partners:
- Candace chooses Tara.
- Darinda pairs with Lisa.
- Ron… gets no one and goes straight into a cage like a rejected Pokémon.
The Challenge Rules
Pairs decide which of them goes into the cage. The free partner must search the marsh for skulls. Stack 10 skulls to free your partner. Each rescue is worth $5,000.
They have 10 minutes.
Chaos ensues:
- Rob frees Mora first.
- Steven saves Jam Jam.
- Monae rescues Natalie.
- Tiffany saves Michael.
- Tara saves Candace.
They earn $25,000 total.
Eric, Lisa, Kristen, Ron, and Caroline remain caged — meaning all five are shortlisted for murder.
Back at the Castle: Suspicion Shifts Again
The safe players celebrate, except Mark, who feels awful about failing Kristen.
Colton becomes increasingly suspicious of Tiffany, believing she’s making power moves with Michael. Tiffany tries to shift heat onto Ron and Jam Jam, and Mora is delighted because Jam Jam stole her shield.
Tiffany also keeps insisting Michael is a traitor “angel,” but her loyalty is making Colton paranoid.
So now Colton wants Tiffany gone.
The Traitors Meet in the Turret
Lisa arrives acting like she’s endured ten years in solitary confinement since we last saw her in the cage. Her acting is spectacular.
The traitors discuss murder options:
- Ron — confusing, risky, dramatic
- Caroline — takes heat off them
- Eric — random kill
- Kristen — smart enough to catch them
Candace says the four tied players are “delicious options.”
They head into the woods, where the caged players must beg for mercy. Kristen refuses. Ron goes full Broadway, shouting:
“SHOW ME YOUR FACES!”
The episode ends there.
Iconic.
Strategic Thoughts: The Traitors Are Thriving
The traitors made another smart move eliminating RobC. They are clearly removing the sharp, quiet players first while keeping loud, messy suspects like Jam Jam, Tiffany, Ron, and Michael around as shields.
There are still easy, low-impact kills left: Kristen, Steven, Mark. Eliminating them creates confusion while protecting the traitors further.
At this point, the traitors are absolutely dominating. I can see multiple traitors winning this season — Lisa and Rob look like a strong duo.
Which Faithfuls Stand Out?
- Natalie proclaimed herself faithful immediately, and no one suspects her. She’s vocal but not threatening.
- Monae is quietly building alliances and isn’t on anyone’s radar.
- Colton has strong instincts but is playing too hard too early, especially going after Tiffany.
If Tiffany and Colton go head-to-head? They both lose.
Who Should the Traitors Murder Next?
Definitely not Ron. He’s too accidental and dramatic to waste.
I vote Kristen. She didn’t commit to the tree-acting moment, and honestly, if I were a traitor, you fail the theatrics? You go home.
Final Thoughts
That’s all for this episode! Let me know in the comments:
Who do you think gets murdered next?
After the first three episodes, which players are standing out to you?
