Ted and Tyrell will find themselves in embarrassing situations on Beyond the Gates

The action heats up this week on Beyond the Gates for Ted Richardson (Maurice Johnson) and his grandson Tyrell Richardson (Jaden Lucas Miller). Both men will find themselves in sticky situations and trying to figure out how to avoid humiliation.

There is also tension off-screen for the man playing Ted. BTG fans know that Johnson was abruptly fired, and in May, Keith Robinson will take over the role of the plastic surgeon. No official reason was given for why the actor was axed. He did state that rumors about him were false and he was not having problems with co-star Daphnée Duplaix, who portrays his onscreen wife, Nicole Richardson.

Ted's world will be crashing

Onscreen Ted's world will take a shift this week. He will be frantic to protect his family and keep them from discovering a secret from his past. Soap fans know that secrets always come out, usually at the most inopportune times. Dr. Richardson had an affair with Dana "Leslie" Thomas (Trisha Mann-Grant) early in his marriage to Daphne. He paid her off to keep quiet, but now she is back with vengeance on her mind.

Leslie recently asked Ted about $50,000 to ensure she would "go away," but spoilers tease that he is ready to pay up on Monday. Unfortunately, his problems with Leslie are only beginning because she has a bombshell to drop that will rock the Richardsons' world. During an event that is meant to celebrate the doctors, they will receive shocking news.

Leslie will strike while the iron is hot

A Beyond the Gates preview for April 7-11 shows Leslie bragging about the money she received from Ted to Eva Thomas (Ambyr Michelle) as she says she plans to strike back.

Leslie wants to have her cake and eat it, too, so she takes the money and disrupts Ted and Nicole's anniversary party by revealing that Eva is Ted's biological daughter. This will cause a lot of chaos, and Ted won't be able to find a way out of the mess. Meanwhile, his grandson will be dealing with his own crisis situation.

Tyrell is being set up

Tyrell was recently beaten up, and both of his fathers, Martin Richardson (Brandon Claybon) and Bradley "Smitty" Smith (Mike Manning), were concerned he was being bullied.

Tyrell told Martin and Smitty that his bruises resulted from a bike accident but told the truth to his sister, Samantha Richardson (Najah Jackson). He admitted that someone had sent a photo of him in his underwear to a girl at school. BTG fans wonder who sent the picture and why they are targeting Tyrell?

The girl's jock boyfriend didn't appreciate the photo and attacked Tyrell. Now that the image is out, there is the possibility that it could be distributed to the entire school, increasing Tyrell's humiliation.

What happens next for Tyrell and Ted?

Will Tyrell keep this a secret or tell his parents what's happening? Does he know who set him up and why? Could Samantha panic and snitch out of fear of what may happen next? Tyrell might confide in his grandfather, and they will work together on a solution, but he probably will be blown away by the news that he has a new aunt.
