Peaky Blinders = The Godfather
We love The Godfather Parts I & II. (No one watches III more than once because it’s like eating rotten eggs after an expensive four-course meal.) If we’re honest, it’s mostly because we love watching Michael war with himself. Sure he murders people he's known his whole life, but he also attends baptisms and speaks softly. We all have our faults.

Throughout the first 26 years, the show went through multiple production teams, along with seven doctors, each bringing new ideas and styles to the program. And so, here’s a handy guide to experiencing the breadth of 26 years of Doctor Who within the space of a single day. This list comprises a look at the different styles of the show, from the original historicals and science fiction stories to the more complicated ideas of the show’s later years, via some classic monsters, villains, and moments along the way. There’s no need to watch these in chronological order either, feel free to dip in and out as you fancy.

Review of Game of Thrones 7.1
Game of Thrones, as everyone knows, was back last night with the start of its seventh season. It was an altogether excellent episode, satisfying in that every major character was given some time, but one thread I especially liked was Sam in the library.

Why The Bold Type May Be Your New Favorite Show
I'm a show repeater. I rarely ever watch new shows. When I do decide to watch a new show, it's after the first season has already aired. I don't like waiting each week for new episodes. Plus, I just like the comfort of rewatching my favorite characters and knowing exactly what is going to happen. So when I decided to watch The Bold Type's series premiere, it was because it sounded exactly like my type of show. (Get it?)

Is Ken Kaneki Too Impressionable?
Recently I had a healthy discussion with a friend about the beloved main character, Kaneki Ken. In both seasons one and two of Tokyo Ghoul, we've all had the pleasure of witnessing two amazing and drastic changes in the ghoul's character. My friend feels that because Tokyo Ghoul showcases that there is both good and bad when it comes to both the Ghoul investigators and the Ghouls, it makes it hard to pick a side to root for. He feels that the show lacks substance because of this, but I humbly beg to differ. I mean, after all, isn't that how real life is? There is good and bad in every part of the world, in every section and I think the main point of Tokyo Ghoul was to highlight that very fact.

Raven Roth Saved My Young Life
I grew up on Cartoon Network as a kid. It was almost exclusively the only network I watched as a kid. I would spend hours watching old episodes of Courage the Cowardly Dog, Scooby Doo, Johnny Bravo and Animaniacs. I was obsessed with Toonami, which has carried over into an adulthood spent re-watching clips of Dragonball Z, Cowboy Bebop and Mobile Suit Gundam Wing on Youtube. This was the time before the internet was the powerhouse of content creation and dissemination it is today. It was long before we could get that fix for entertainment at the click of a button. Whenever something new was on, whether it was a debuting series or episode of existing franchises, it was almost like an event for me. I wasn't a Nickelodeon guy. I wasn't into what they had over on Disney channel. For me, the sole geek entertainment I got came from CN.

Opening up with what may be a flashback of a feast that old Walder is having for his men, we may start out a little confused since we saw Arya slice his wretched old throat last season, right? But as he continues on with his speech and signals his servants to pour his men the best Arbor gold wine, we see that he himself does not take a sip, and he also tells his concubine not to drink any of it since he refuses to waste such fine wine on a woman.

Hardwork and Natural Talent
Are you familiar with FLCL, Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt, Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, and Kill la Kill? What do they have in common? Right smooth and powerful animation. Studio Trigger had been known to deliver these jaw-dropping animations, but this time, let's give credit to the man responsible for creating these works of art: You Yoshinari. He is the key animator that put all those animations into life.

The Grimm
So I have completed watching Grimm, an American TV program on Netflix. I had mixed feelings about some of the characters throughout the series, I still have one more to season watch but I have to wait until it comes onto Netflix to get my true feelings on the characters. However, if my feelings about the characters are still the same after that season, then I know my predictions will be the same, and since my predictions were correct last season, then I know I’m right.
