The "Perfect Harmony" of Music, Feelings, and Cute Ghosts
I'm known for getting extremely attached and emotionally invested in things very quickly and quite often. Whether it's a band, a movie, a book, or a television series, there are some things that infiltrate my heart and remain there while I obsess over them. Recently, the Netflix original series, Julie and the Phantoms has become that obsession. Not only does it follow a beautiful story, have great music and a strong, young female lead (which we all need more of in our lives), but it also includes three musically inclined male ghosts who have made their way into the hearts of girls everywhere - myself included. What was supposed to be a show created for children, quickly became something that made its way onto the screens of women aged 17-30. Three months after it's premiere, it continues to be discussed among those women on all social media platforms and within group chats all over the world. They can't get enough of Julie and her phantoms, and re-watch the series' one season over and over again while they wait for Netflix to announce a second season.

Doctor Who: Everything We Learned In The 'Revolution Of The Daleks' Trailer
It's been a long wait between new content for Doctor Who fans, but finally, a trailer for the long awaited festive special, 'Revolution Of The Daleks', has dropped. The special, set to air on New Year's Day, 2021, will feature the return of The Doctor's arch enemies, The Daleks, for the first time since the 2019 special 'Resolution', as well as another appearance by Captain Jack Harkness, who made a memorable return earlier this year in 'Fugitive Of The Judoon'.

His Dark Materials: Season 2, Episode 2 "The Cave" - REVIEW
Episode 2 sees the first of the new writers for this series penning the script - alongside Jack Thorne, Francesca Gardiner shines in this episode in terms of writing. Set primarily in Will's Oxford, this episode follows Will and Lyra as both search for answers for their respective dilemmas. Despite getting our first glimpse of the Spectres, this had no effect on the plot as the episode opened with Will unharmed and taking Lyra to Oxford. I understand we needed to have the spectre reveal, but it unfortunately came across as anti-climactic - Episode One should've ended with Will sensing something behind him, turning and seeing nothing. That would have made the transition into this episode much smoother,

Star Trek: Discovery finally finds its feet with a newfound sense of hope
I am, at my heart, a relatively uncritical consumer of media. I don’t really have the focus to go through a film or series with a fine-toothed comb looking for errors and inconsistencies, a lot of my opinions on media are very impressionistic, I consider the feelings that I’m left with after I watch something rather than picking it apart for specifics. If it felt well-written and enjoyable, well, that’s good enough for me.
