My Top 5 Jonny Quest Wannabe Kid Sidekicks
I'm sure that in the Sixties, when THE ADVENTURES OF JONNY QUEST premiered in prime time (which automatically meant better quality), every boy watching wanted to be Jonny--facing menacing villains alongside his Indian pal Hadji and pet bulldog pup Bandit. More often than not, he won. But some of the kid sidekicks of Cartoonland are at best pale imitations, at worse just plain annoying. Here is my list of the Top Five:

What will happen to Kim Wexler in the last season of "Better Call Saul"?
The latest season of Better Call Saul reached new high levels, bringing the tension near to the final climax of the show. The introduction of characters like Gustavo Fring and "Lalo Salamanca" added those Breaking Bad vibes that were already so successful in pleasing the audience, as those dynamics were introduced into the spin-off as well. After five seasons, the main plots of the show are all coming together for the grand finale: from Lalo looking for his revenge on Gus and Varga after a shocking survival to the attack on him organized by Fring himself, to Kim finally accepting and embracing her dark side.

The 7 worst things BoJack Horseman ever did
BoJack Horseman tells a story that is not usually told that often within the world of entertainment. BoJack is far from being the standardised main character that starts from a very low point to end up with a redemption: he will never find true, proper redemption in the series, even when it looks like he is on the verge of becoming a better person. He is such a bad person that he ends up hating himself, and his behaviours are a proof of this: BoJack clearly doesn't love himself and, no matter how hard he tries to get better, he seems to be trapped in a downward spiral towards self-destruction. Deep-down (really, really deep), though, BoJack is not an evil person, but this potential good side of him is buried by tons of harsh experiences, delusions, sick relationships, an extremely high dose of bad parenting and dangerous addictions.

Did Sharon Replace Shelby
Is it just me or did anyone else notice how clunky the scene with Selby from the Falcon and the Winter Soldier played out? In case you missed it obviously watch for spoilers. In the scene things are progressing smoothly until Sam gets an unexpected phone call from his sister. It is a great device to create tension but when Selby insists that Sam, in disguise as Smiling Tiger, answer on speaker it caught me off guard. Is it against the rules for him to receive phone calls? The scene could have had an equal amount of tension if she had just casually, instead of accusingly, told Sam he could answer. Sam would have still had to remain in character, and we could have had some more development between Sam and his sister as he verbally berates her over the phone to stay in character that could have been interesting for their subplot. If it was meant to be rude or inappropriate for Sam to get a call during the meeting, then it should have been hinted at beforehand in a previous scene. As it stands in the current cut there is no established precedence for Selby’s reaction.

Falcon and the Winter Soldier Ep. 3 Review
Falcon and the Winter Soldier Episode Three Awkward Execution. For those of you keeping pace with the new series on Disney plus may have noticed that while the show started in a strong place with its first two episodes that something was off when going into to third. Now I am not saying it was bad, just off. Lots of theories have come out online trying to put a finger on what made the episode stumble a little, but I would like to share my thoughts on the show do far as we reach the halfway point in the six-episode series.

How Has Courage The Cowardly Dog Changed Children?
Courage the Cowardly Dog was released as a promo in 1996 with "Chicken From Outer Space". That little short animated snippet was enough for a green light to have John R. Dilworth's tale about a terrified little purple anthropomorphic dog facing various frightening foes to be apart of the Cartoon Network lineup in 1998. Now it holds a reputation of inspiration and has grown to be apart of the classics of cartoons. It holds a place in the hearts of all the kids from the new millennium including myself. Courage the Cowardly Dog was the show that had the perfect blend of scares and smarts.
