Scouts of Honor: The Secret Files of the Boy Scouts of America
This was a tough one of watch and not because of what it was about and what it represents as far as what goes on in society. I mean, when you think of the Boy Scouts of America, I think you think of an organization that is wholesome, that raises boys to be outstanding members of society and that truly wants to help shape the future of America. What this showed is that, you let powerful men run an organization and you just let them get away with whatever and run their organization however they want, there are disgusting things that happen.

Yennefer Was Wrong
The Witcher series is about the eponymous Witcher Geralt of Rivia, a half-human mutant with supernatural powers he uses to hunt and kill monsters. Geralt lives in a medieval-seeming land called the Continent (another name is never given). Due to his code of neutrality called "The Path," he can serve polities on many different sides of a great conflict, as he initially provides his services to all sides with enough coin.

Lights Out TV Show.
The TV show called "Lights Out". Welcome back to the 1950s Science Fiction Podcast. Today, I want to talk about the early days of TV and a show called Lights Out. It was a TV version of a popular radio show from the 1930s. I recently published an article about it on my Vocal. media profile page. If you're interested, please take a look. I have almost 60 stories on various topics related to science fiction, podcasts, and popular culture. To find my profile, go to Vocal. media and search for Edward German in the author's section. You can also find a link on the podcast platform. Thank you for listening.

And Just Like That
Season 1 of And Just Like That was fine…it definitely still felt like Sex and the City. But I love mediocre drama so here we go with the second season of the revival. The new characters they introduced last season are still in play. Though they are good characters it feels like they are trying so hard to replace Samantha.

And Just Like That...
So when I found out Sex and the City was getting a revival, I binge watched the entire original series and the movies. Just to pick up the first episode, hate everything and stop watching it. But I was home sick today so I decided to try again so here I go, with the first season of Just Like That, the Sex and the City revival.

"Ōoku: The Inner Chambers" Is A Fascinating Deconstruction of Gender
In today's pop culture lexicon, deconstructions of gender are everywhere. The dystopian TV series Handmaid's Tale, based on the book of the same name, is about what happens when theocratic Christian patriarchy dominates all aspects of the United States. And, of course, Amazonian mythology has been rehashed in everything from Xena Warrior Princess to Wonder Woman.
