Magical Marvel Moments that Made Phase 2 a Massive Success
Last week I wrote about the magical moments that made Phase One a huge success for Marvel Studios. This week, I want to talk about Phase Two. After The Avengers, the Marvel Cinematic Universe changed dramatically; Aliens had just invaded New York for all to see. The heroes of the MCU had to change their outlook too - particularly Iron Man, who had recurring dreams about his foray into outer space with the nuke. But what were the stand out moments from Phase Two? Let's find out!

Men Of Steel: The Top 5 Live Action Supermen
With the return of Superman to the little screen in the form of Tyler Hoechlin on Supergirl and Henry Cavill as the big blue wonder on the big screen, I thought it would be prudent to do a roundup of all the actors who have ever played the boyscout ranked in the order of greatness.

What's the Deal with the MCU and Secret Identities?
Ever since they began, superheroes have always had a secret identity, a means to relax and get away from their responsibilities as heroes. Many heroes will use their civilian identity to attempt to live a normal life, while also protecting the people around them from immediate danger from their double life. Each hero has their own way of doing this. Some wear masks, some physically transform and others adopt completely different mannerisms to back up the ruse. A secret identity, and the double life that goes along with it, is one of the most basic superhero tropes, but the MCU has a different approach.

The Man In the Iron Mask Revealed
Ever since the identity of zoom was revealed and the sojourn into Earth two, people have been talking and discussing the man in the Iron Mask. However unlike the normal people speculation I believe to some extent the code has been cracked by a hint in the latest episode of the flash. Here are the hints:

What Stan Lee Did for Superheroes
Today, I want to look back at one of my personal heroes - the legend that is Stanley Martin Lieber, better known as Stan Lee. He needs no introduction to any true comic book fan but, for anyone who was wondering, he is the guy who keeps appearing in all the Marvel films. Without him, it's pretty safe to say that we wouldn't have any of the Avengers films, possibly even the Marvel Cinematic Universe!

New Dan Slott Comic Shows Peter Parker All Grown Up! But Where Does Spider-Man Go from Here?
For the second time in around 18 months, we have a book called Amazing Spider-Man #1. Last time, we dealt with the fallout of the excellent Superior Spider-Man series. Now, we step into entirely new territory for the character. Finally, Peter Parker has grown up and is fulfilling his intellectual potential. 8 months after the conclusion of the still running Secret Wars, Parker Industries is a worldwide company that caters for some interesting clients (read SHIELD). Sorry, Norman Osborn: Venom Is Spider-Man's Greatest Foe and Here's Why!
Spider-Man is a superhero with a wide variety of villains. Over the years, he has battled a number foes ranging from street thugs to god-like beings. Many would argue that his greatest opponent was either the Green Goblin or Doctor Octopus. Although the Green Goblin killed Gwen Stacy and Doctor Octopus has been a thorn in Spider-Man's side for many years, I believe Venom is an even greater foe to Spider-Man.

This Marvel Writer Could Be the MCU's Answer to the Best Spider-Man Movie Ever!
"With great power, there must also come, great responsibility". Spider-Man's famous mantra, the words he lives by and the words that inspire him to be the hero he is. These are wise words indeed and they can, of course, be followed in the real world by you and me. However, there is one man who will live by this phrase every day of his working life. That man is Dan Slott, the current writer of Spider-Man.

Why Marvel’s Daredevil is the Perfect Place to Introduce the Punisher into the MCU
Word of warning: there may be some spoilers for season 1 of Daredevil in here. Season 2 of Daredevil is upon us and if season 1 is anything to go by, it is going to be good. Daredevil was a huge success for both Marvel and Netflix. I even know quite a few people who got a Netflix account exclusively to watch the show. The 13 episode timeframe allowed the story to develop at a steady pace. The writers obviously had a clear idea of how they wanted to tell the story and stuck to their guns. The Kingpin was a huge part of the series (with an incredible performance from Vincent D'Onofrio) and he was not introduced on screen until the very end of episode 3. His presence was certainly felt and his story almost mirrored Matt Murdock's. Both men seek to save their city, but they have very different ideas about how to do this. With the Kingpin behind bars (for now, you know what TV shows are like) where could the show go from here?
