The threequel is currently scheduled to be released on November 5, 2021, though it would not at all be surprising if there were to be another release date change. Whenever it comes out, it seems that we may be in for a surprise in the form of a familiar face.

And they were all separate people that weren’t connected to each other, so I knew that would be a hell of a job. And I took the cowardly way out, and I figured, hey, the easiest thing in the world: They were born that way. They were mutants.” - Stan Lee.

'The Suicide Squad' Spin-Off Series 'Peacemaker' Starring John Cena Coming To HBO Max
We are at a time when we are getting live-action comic book shows that tie into live-action comic book films. In 2013, the MCU got this treatment with the addition of Agents of SHIELD, and then later Agent Carter. Other shows said to be set within the MCU did not really do much to tie into the films, though that will change with Marvel Studios’ live-action shows that are coming to Disney+ during Phase Four. 3 Reasons Why Marvel Should Recast the Black Panther.
Chadwick Boseman did a stupendous job at bringing T'Challa, King of Wakanda, to life on the big screen. Tragically, he lost his battle with colon cancer and fans are divided as to what should happen now.
