Captain America is the Best Avenger, here's why.
The Captain America comics and characters were created in response to World War 2, expressing the desire to get involved and combat the Nazis. It was also inspired by a brave American that helped lots of people during that time. But on this occasion, I will talk about the fictional, and for many of us, comfort character Steve Rogers.

Falcon And The Winter Soldier: How Did John Walker's Tenure As Cap Play Out In The Comics?
Falcon And The Winter Soldier took a surprisingly dark turn in episode 4, 'The Whole World Is Watching'. New Captain America John Walker, in retaliation for the death of his partner, Lemar Hoskins, beats one of the Flag-Smashers to death with his shield in front of a crowd of horrified onlookers. After tarnishing the legacy of the shield, Walker's tenure as Cap is unlikely to have a happy ending.

Powerpuff: Bringing Back Girl Power Like It's 1999
Here's my disclaimer: I was not a big fan of the original Powerpuff Girls that aired on Cartoon Network between the years 1998 and 2005. Whenever I did watch the show (which wasn't often; I didn't grow up with cable), I usually just waited for the anime block to come on instead. While the show was vibrant and distinguishable from other cartoons of its time, I was young enough that the novelty and nuance behind certain aspects of the show just completely went over my head most of the time.

Why the World Doesn't Need Zack Snyder's Justice League Movie
I can’t believe people enjoy this movie. I’m gonna start this off by saying that my bar was super low for this movie. I saw the original Whedon cut and I did not enjoy that garbage. But I also did not enjoy this either.

Falcon And The Winter Soldier: Easter Eggs And Important Moments From Episode 4: 'The Whole World Is Watching'
Bucky and Sam have been struggling to get along with the new 'Cap', John Walker, in Falcon And The Winter Soldier. That looks unlikely to change anytime soon, with Walker's character taking a very dark turn in the most recent episode.

Falcon and the Winter Soldier
The hatred for John Walker grows in episode 2 and I think it boils down to one thing, everything we know about him points to him being a good soldier, including the fact that he was dubbed Captain America by the US government but nothing we know about him even gives us the illusion that he is a good man. The whole tagline for what makes Captain America relatable, loveable and a hero is that he wasn’t a perfect soldier but a good man and John Walker spits in the face of everything that Steve stood for and that's why him being in possession of the shield simply feels wrong.

5 Reasons Why I’m Loving Falcon and The Winter Solider
As a die hard Marvel fan I have loved Bucky since the very first Captain America and when Sam was introduced in Winter Solider, I quickly fell in love with his character as well. So, when the announcement came that they were creating a show around both of these characters, my excitement was through the roof.

Taking the "Hero" out of "Superhero"
Not much surprises me these days. Especially in regards to superhero-related entertainment in movies and television. I grew up reading comic books and watching the movies they inspired. Whether they were on wonderfully coloured pages or the big screen, I was in awe with these characters, these superheroes, that were larger than life. Eventually, the superhero genre took over the box office and television screens everywhere. Perhaps it was the burnout of seeing superhero-related content seemingly everywhere, or the predictability of what each movie/show would entail, but they stopped surprising me.

Zack Snyder To Helm Justice League Series On HBO Max
The remarkable success of Zack Snyder's vision of the Justice League movie has yielded more DC fruit. Snyder helmed several films within the DC Extended Universe to limited success. When personal tragedy struck while filming Justice League, Snyder understandably left the project. Joss Whedon took over and finished the movie. The result was less than desirable for many fans. Many clamored for Snyder to redo the film. HBO Max released the Snyder cut in mid-March. Even with its 4-hour runtime, fans loved it.
