Why ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ Is An Example Of The ‘Perfect Movie’
***WARNING - SPOILERS AHEAD FOR NO WAY HOME*** No Way Home is easily one of the greatest movies ever made, in my opinion, and not just because it is a Marvel, a superhero, or a Spider-Man movie. It is one of those movies which comes along every so often and completely blows your mind and changes the game forever. The best way to explain it is, ironically, with the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) itself.

In its 82-year history, Marvel Comics created some of the most iconic comic books characters. From the early days of Timely Comics to the heyday of Marvel in the 1960s, the world learned of great heroes and the evilest villains. What Marvel excelled at was developing heroes and villains alike that weren't cookie-cutter. The heroes were flawed, with self-doubt and anxiety. At the same time, certain villains saw their deeds as good or necessary for the greater good, even if the means were not. Below we take a closer look at the top 10 Marvel Comics villains.

Unstoppable
We rocketed through the narrow airways between the skyscrapers of Metrocity, the Speedster’s sleek metal body vibrating and its double rocket-boosters flaming as we wove through a barrage of bullets, energy blasts, and assorted projectiles. Our haul lay tucked securely in the Speedster’s saddlebags, our escape impeded by every hero – super or standard – that the city could throw at us, but I focused my attention on the metallic companion riding pillion behind me.

‘No Way Home’ Writers Discuss Their Future With The Franchise
**SPOILERS FOR SPIDER-MAN: NO WAY HOME** With the massive success of Spider-Man: No Way Home, questions have come up about the future of Spider-Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). Sony, who technically still owns the rights to Spider-Man, loaned the character to Disney/Marvel so that they could include Peter Parker in their movies. Since Marvel’s Spider-Man trilogy ended with Spider-Man: No Way Home, it was unclear whether Sony would allow Spider-Man to continue to be part of the Disney/Marvel Cinematic Universe. While No Way Home ended in a way that would suggest sequels (like many Marvel films do), the guarantee was not quite there.

Jamie Foxx Discusses His Character’s New Look for ‘No Way Home’
The Amazing Spider-Man 2 had a lot of issues. While it was not the worst superhero movie, it was far from a perfect film. One of the complaints raised by several fans was Jamie Foxx’s Max Dillon (aka. Electro). Foxx gave a great performance, but the direction of his performance left Electro feeling more like a Spider-Man fanboy/stalker rather than a true villain. However, the other large criticism of Electro was his design. The Electro in Amazing Spider-Man 2 had glowing blue skin and a skin-tight black suit as opposed to the green and yellow suit with a lightning bolt-shaped mask of the original from the comics. It appeared to be inspired by Electro’s look in the Ultimate Spider-Man comic series , which further confused fans considering the film was called The Amazing Spider-Man. Regardless, Electro got a massive makeover for his appearance in Spider-Man: No Way Home and Jamie Foxx spoke up about this change.

Spiderman
So here's the deal, there was a lot of lead up and hype to this movie and to be honest I was not only skeptical but I have very little hope that Sony and Marvel could pull off having a live action Spider Verse movie. I didn’t care for the previous two renditions of the web slinger and felt no reason to see them on the big screen again, more than that I didn’t want them to take away from Tom’s Spiderman. Well after seeing the film I am very happy to say that I was wrong and No Way Home was in fact the best live action spiderman movie that exists as well as being in my top 5 Marvel movies ever.

Official Trailer For ‘Doctor Strange 2’ Drops
By the hoary hosts of Hoggoth! The trailer for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is here, and it is glorious. As someone who is a massive fan of the first Doctor Strange film and the character in general, I am beyond excited for this film. The first Doctor Strange was an underappreciated gem of the MCU that cemented magic as a vital part of the MCU going forward. Now, it looks like the sequel will cement the multiverse as a major part of the MCU going forward. This will also allegedly be Marvel’s first trip into the horror genre, which opens all new possibilities for the film. This also seems to be what Phase 4 of the MCU has been building to. WARNING, there may be some spoilers ahead.
