5 Disney Characters Who are the Friend Everyone Deserves
Many Disney characters are hard to imagine without their sidekick or friend to help them through their adventures. Who even knows how the stories would have played out without them, they sure wouldn't have been the same. Here are five great examples of amazing Disney friends, that we should all have in our lives. (Oh, and also... spoiler alert!)

Actors ARE NOT their characters!
I love Star Wars. But in some ways I'm afraid to say that because of the reputation the fandom has of being overly toxic and critical. They bullied Kelly Marie Tran off of social media when they didn't like her character in The Last Jedi. They bullied Rian Johnson for creating The Last Jedi. They bullied Hayden Christensen out of acting because his portrayal of a teen/young adult male was too awkward (Imagine that!) They even bullied a literal child into a life of anxiety and depression because they didn't like that he portrayed future Darth Vader as, get this, a CHILD. I gotta say, it seems nobody hates of Star Wars more than Star Wars fans.

Bloody Sam On the Lam
His name is one that brings memories of a mad genius; a cinema auteur with balls of steel. He was a man who would redefine the Western genre and horrifically expose the true nature of inhumanity and violence, that the old school studios and television audiences took for granted; while at the same time, serving as the ground work for the newest generations of directors and Hollywood rebels. This is the story of Sam Peckinpah.

Postcards from a Pandemic, Part Three:
Call me crazy, but in the middle of a disaster, I’ve been distracting myself with…disaster. I can’t help it. I’m an Armageddon junkie. As a writer, I’m naturally interested in contrasting and comparing fictional depictions of mass casualty, civilization-threatening events with the nearest analogue in recent history: this here big ol’ pandemic. It interests me, sometimes in comforting, sometimes in disturbing ways.

Thots on Sherry Pie and the dangers of mislabeling predatory bahavior.
Sack of potatoes or sack of shit? When I watched the "Meet the Queens" intro videos from all 12 contestants of America's beloved queer monarchy, RuPaul's Drag Race - season 12, a kooky, campy and slightly creepy cartoon character of a woman really stood out. With a forced lisp and multiple "pie" references to boot, I couldn't help but cringe at the awkward attempts at comedy and the extremely put on characterizations of miss Sherry Pie. My first thought was "well, this is just a 5 minute video and there's only so much you can do. We will just see what this person is capable of when the season starts." Little did I know how accurate that assumption was.

Is It Time to Scrap the Oscars?
The Academy Awards, better knows as "The Oscars" is possibly the most popular awards show on TV ever. Yet, there has been a massive decline in the viewership with scandals coming out left, right and centre and a general disinterest in those who live a lifestyle so far away from our own. Is it that we simply just don't care about them anymore?

Best Moments from the 2020 Oscars
1) No Host! This is the second year in a row that the Oscars have gone sans host and I have to admit, I kind of like it. With that being said I’ll also note that because there was no official host, a handful of show “filler” and presenters-presenting-presenters fell flat for me and it was a waste of airtime.

Cosplay Conventions Should Be All About Fun and Games.
As a long time cosplayer, I have found it extremely aggravating when people want to cause trouble and drama at conventions. I have seen way too much of it and quite frankly, I am sick of it. My friends and I are in the agreement that these conventions should be our escape from reality.
