Black Panther: Wakanda Forever
I got the pleasure of seeing Black Panther: Wakanda Forever on opening night and I did in fact cry like a little bitch baby within the first 30 seconds. It was an incredibly emotional, heartfelt and touching tribute to Chadwick Boseman and it was genuinely the most incredible Marvel movie for one simple reason, it didn’t feel like a Marvel movie.

Vampires Endurance in Hollywood
So we’ve talked about the stories that have a chokehold on both Hollywood and society but the most enduring subject of media is vampires. Inspiring both television and film vampires insight into possibly the most amount of projects ever produced. It's also one of the few subjects that spans demographics; ordinarily associated with teenage girls (thanks to things like Twilight and Vampire Diaries), grown men also find entertainment in vampire stories (Dracula and Buffy the Vampire Slayer).

Marvel gave Namor a goatee, I don’t like it, the musical
Marvel, Marvel, Marvel, Marvel. Let’s talk, let’s be straight with each other we owe ourselves that much. We’ve had some good times, some really good times. You’ve been strong in my life for over a decade now and I know you’re always gonna be there for me in some form or another, but lately, you seem a little ‘off’. Nothings truly been bad (I didn’t hate Eternals sue me) but it hasn’t quiet been the caliber we’re used to. Is the MCU getting too big for ya? Actors aging out too fast? Feige can’t keep track of all the properties under the same roof? You can tell me it’s alright. You’re not doing bad yet, but you’re really just not doing great.

Doctor Who: The Companion Chronicles: The Invasion of E-Space Review
Season 18 of Doctor Who was one of the most groundbreaking and experimental in the show's history. To this day, it remains one of the most thematically consistent seasons of the classic series, and, while it isn't one that has been revisited that often in the years since, it is one that is still held in huge regard by Doctor Who fans. So, when, in 2010, Big Finish released "The Invasion of E-Space", there was a lot of anticipation for this story. Added to that was the fact that this would be the first story written by Andrew Smith since his debut, "Full Circle" (the first part of the E-Space trilogy from Season 18), back in 1980. As such, there was a lot of anticipation for this story, and it is a shame that it isn't quite as strong as a lot of Doctor Who fans were hoping for. Don't get me wrong - "The Invasion of E-Space" is a perfectly serviceable, decent Doctor Who story. However, this doesn't really have a lot of the heart the Companion Chronicles traditionally employ, and there's nothing here that makes this standout from most other Doctor Who stories: something that, at its best, Season 18 did in spades.

Wakanda Forever: The Impact of Black Panther
One night in the fall of 2014 I checked my social media and saw that it had been announced that Chadwick Boseman had been casts to play Marvel Comic's superhero, Black Panther, also known as T'Challa. Considering that I was already a big fan of Chadwick Boseman because of his previous roles in films like 42 (2013) and Get On Up (2014), I was not surprised at this choice of casting, but I was surprised at the impact that Black Panther would have on the world, because it was one that I would have never predicted.
