Why Oskar from "Let the Right One In" Still Gets To Me
We all have our handful of movies that we can always go back to. No matter how many times we watch them, somehow they never get old. When you first see one of those movies, there's this feeling that I really wish I could properly describe in words. The closest I can probably get is feeling captivated, engrossed, and fascinated by the story happening in front of you. One of those movies for me is Let the Right One In. If you haven't seen the movie or have read the book, Let the Right One In is about a boy named Oskar who meets a new tenant in his apartment complex, a young girl named Eli. The two of them start a friendship and as Oskar learns more about Eli he has to make choices about who she is and how he feels about it. Beyond all of that he also has to survive a school where he's constantly bullied and humiliated. That's one of the chief reasons I connected with Oskar as a character. It's because at some point in my life (and this is real cliche of me to say) I was Oskar.

Rambles About Soul Skating (and Why Disney Channel Movies Were My Jam)
The year was 1998 and there was nothing I looked forward to more than rushing home and watching the latest Disney Channel movie. My childhood wasn't that awesome, I guess. Then again, it was pretty awesome because these movies were my jam. We're talking classics such as Smart House, Luck of the Irish, and of course Brink! which was all about rollerblading and friendship or something along those lines.

Review of Jesse Eisenberg's Performance as Lex Luthor: Has He Become Superman's Joker?
Warning: This article will contain spoilers for Batman v Superman. I went into Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice keeping an open mind about the plot, characters, and of course the actors playing them. I was skeptical of Ben Affleck as Batman, but was proven wrong and I was skeptical about Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, but I am still not sure what to make of it.

An attempt that fell short.
'The Age of Adaline' starring Blake Lively looked like it was going to be an epic romance that would sweep me up and take me on a journey with a woman of many years. What I got instead was a disjointed narrative that felt like it didn't quite know where it was going. The challenge of the movie going in is portraying the life of a woman who has lived for a century and trying to cram that into a 112 minute run time. How it approached that challenge was putting the viewer through 20+ solid minutes of outside narration and a bevy of flashback scenes.

Did The 'Zootopia' Director Just Hint at the Plot of 'Zootopia 2'?
Zootopia has taken the world by storm and became the most successful Disney film since Frozen. While it has not seen the same financial success as Frozen, I think it brought much more to the table than money; it made an impact in the hearts of many.

From Garfield To Gibson: Who's Who In WWII Epic 'Hacksaw Ridge'?
Can you hear that? It's the sound of machine guns and Oscar nominations. After some *erm* discrepancies, #MelGibson is back to his Braveheart glory, directing the World War II epic #HacksawRidge. A modern day Saving Private Ryan, Hacksaw Ridge follows the true story of #AndrewGarfield as Desmond Doss — a conscientious objector who went weaponless into battle at Okinawa, one of the war's bloodiest battles.
