Once a dirty word among the superhero filmverse, R-ratings mean big business nowadays, which will undoubtedly force the rest of the film studios to reevaluate their current slate of films.

But does the movie actually deserve all the hate that it is getting? I may just be someone that isn't a comic book fan, but while I can acknowledge the flaws, I actually found the movie enjoyable. The arguments that people make about not liking it are actually understandable within the way the movie was set up.

Is War Machine Going to Make a Full Recovery In 'Avengers: Infinity War' Thanks to Bleeding Edge?
For the most part, we've only seen brief glimpses of a few Avengers in the featurette released, and in the images leaked from the film's set. Among the images revealed, we've seen characters like Doctor Strange, Wong, Bruce Banner, and Iron Man himself teamed up, but without the rest of the Avengers. Could these be the last remaining Avengers or just a segment where the teams are split up? Either way, Iron Man is the more intriguing presence, simply because he's donning the highly anticipated Bleeding Edge armor.

With the debut of Spider-Man: Homecoming being as successful—if not more successful than predicted, it shouldn't come as a surprise to hear of all the praise it's receiving. Considering how Homecoming delivered on creating a worthwhile universe for Spider-Man to exist in, while at the same, keeping him closely tied into the current events of the MCU, the positive reviews are a given. The film also seemed to satisfy both long time fans of the comics and casual moviegoers alike with its seemingly perfect introduction for Spider-Man.

'R' You Ready: James Mangold Talks About How He Made 'Logan' R-Rated
If it ain't broke don't fix it, but it if it's broke, burn it down and start again. In 2013 James Mangold was set the impossible task of scooping up the charred remains of Weapon-X from Gavin Hood's X-Men Origins: Wolverine and crafting some sort of sequel. Sending #Wolverine on a violent vacation to Japan, Mangold excelled in turning The Wolverine into something of its own entity rather than trying to salvage what was left after Origins. Even though Mangold wasn't happy with the finished product, The Wolverine was a much improved title, so when it came to directing a third chapter in #HughJackman's solo films, Mangold was clearly the right choice.
