Ship of Dream Titanic
There's a controversy at the center of James Cameron's 1997 blockbuster "Titanic," which has sparked heated debate since the film's release nearly 25 years ago. This question, which has lingered in my thoughts throughout each viewing, has major ramifications for the young couple's life and death.

Blade: Impact of a Legend
At the end of the summer of 1998 when I was just 5 years old, my dad took me to the movies to see the biggest movie of the summer that everyone was looking forward to, Blade starring Wesley Snipes as the title character, country music legend, Kris Kristofferson as the title character's mentor Abraham Whistler, and Stephen Dorff as the film's antagonist, Deacon Frost.

Lord of the Rings: Gollum Never Framed Sam!
Everyone remembers that scene where Gollum steals what little Lembas Bread the Hobbits have left and crumples it over the cliff while Sam & Frodo are fast asleep. All the Movies 1998’s Soldier Could be Connected to and Why
The motion picture Soldier starring Kurt Russell flew well enough below the radar when it was released in 1998, so much so that it isn't on many people’s watchlist, and its DVD most assuredly can be found at the bottom of the bargain bin at one’s local gas station. The critically panned box office bomb is chock full of solid action with a decent performance from Russell. But what sets this intriguing cinematic endeavor apart from other sci-fi duds of the ‘90s is the fact that this film could very well be linked to several different movies.

The Romance Comedy Of The Year Is An Adventure Romcom
Brad Pitt was in the movie. Don’t let people forget it, he deserves props for his bit part. And, he explains to us that he's in there because he's so handsome, thanks to his weatherman father. The rest of the movie was an incredible example of what the genre, “action rom-com,” could be, and I want to coin the phrase before Hollywood steals it.
