Thanks to the creation of The Purge, an annual event that allows citizens to release their inhibitions and emotions in violent ways that otherwise would not be legal. For 12 hours, all crime including murder is legal with the people agreeing that for the rest of the year they suppress the need to commit crimes in agreement that they can commit whatever they wish on the sanctioned event.

'Veronica Mars' - An Untold Scene
"Veronica Mars, not your average high school student" - Me? I think. I avoided Veronica Mars for a while because I thought it was about some high school kid with super powers. BOY WAS I SO WRONG. To this day it is one of my favorite pilots ever. There's SO much exposition in there yet you don't feel lost in anything that's going on. The mysteries from little to big through out that first season are truly edge of your seat. While this is a high school show, this is no high school show.

I mean, we recognized Joshua Jackson from Mighty Ducks, and there was something familiar about Van Der Beek. But they were such babies, fresh-faced and with no idea how their lives were about to change forever.
