Social Issues from The Newsies | Class & Power
The Newsies strike of 1899 was able to bring many social inequities to a point of discussion. There were three main issues that the Newsies strike of 1899 were able to pinpoint: child labor, class and power, and the power of the press. I have always been passionate to learn about class and power, so I will be summarizing that topic for this article

Introduction Time!
Hello out there! My name is Jessica, but you can call me Jess. Hmm, where should I begin? I suppose I should start by saying I'm a bit of a mess and well, a lot weird. I'm a creativity junkie, I love anything to do with making art. Drawing, sewing, sculpting and all that fun stuff. I've been drawing for as long as I can remember, but around high school I discovered this completely amazing thing called anime. And what does that have to do with all this? One word, cosplay. I have a major obsession with both anime and cosplay.

John Krasinski, SGN and the Fandom Ownership Illusion. Top Story - May 2020.
"He has made money off his 'Good News' program while people are dying, laid off, can't get food, etc. Smart, John." Someone tweeted. "This is a sellout move made on the backs of fans who contributed almost all of his content, and he’s not even going to keep doing it..." writes another twitter user, "never forget the rich live in a completely different world and do NOT care about us."

Another Missed Broadway Function.
Robert Massimi. Last Friday was The Drama Leagues annual Gala which was to be held at the Marriott Marquis in the heart of New York City, in the center of Broadway. It was to include a red carpet and interviews with the talented artists who would have been up for Tony Awards this June. It is a Gala that if you are lucky enough to be invited too, as I was, that honors all the big players in Theater today. From writers, producers, directors and actors, May 15th was the date on everyone's calendar.

I Need Theatre Back In My Life.. First Place in Better Days Challenge.
When I came back to San Diego after graduating from college, I didn’t really know anyone. All my friends either went back to their respective hometowns, graduate school, or started new lives in new cities. There was so much uncertainty for me in 2017; when I would finally land a job, where it would be, where I would live, and who my friends would be. The only thing I knew for sure was that I wanted to perform again. Musical theatre has been a great love of mine since I was a child, and something I never had time to do in college.
