A Man Called Otto (2023) Movie Review
Marc Forster’s latest movie, “A Man Called Otto,” is a heartwarming, albeit unremarkable dramedy that tells the story of a man who finds it challenging to pick his daily battles. Living in an ordinary suburban neighborhood in the Midwest, Otto gets easily annoyed by the missteps of strangers, and his protests are so pronounced that they rival those of Larry David in an average episode of “Curb Your Enthusiasm.” Tom Hanks plays Otto in an indistinct performance that strikes a balance between quirky and grounded. Although he is often right about his grievances, Otto could perhaps afford to have some manners himself, especially when a new, pregnant neighbour drops by with a bowl of home-cooked meal as a courtesy.

Cocaine Bear (2023) Movie Review
“Cocaine Bear” is not just another movie about animals; it’s a movie about a bear that has ingested a considerable amount of cocaine and gone on a rampage in the forest. The movie is a blend of comedy, action, and thriller genres. Director Elizabeth Banks’ movie is not profound, but it is an incredible blast to watch, particularly in a packed theater. The communal experience is crucial here, as it brings people together and saves cinema.

Memory (2022) Movie Review
With Nicolas Cage's recent resurgence and Bruce Willis' retirement, it seems that Liam Neeson may be the next actor to come under fire for his string of forgettable movies. In fact, his latest release, "Memory," is already his second film of 2022, and with upcoming projects such as "Retribution," "In the Land of Saints and Sinners," "The Revenger," and a "Cold Pursuit Sequel Project" listed on IMDb, it appears that he will continue to churn out similar thrillers for the foreseeable future.

Last The Night (Pacerville) (2022) Movie Review
The pandemic has brought the world to a standstill, and the film industry is no exception. Last the Night, also known as Pacerville, directed by Nick Leisure and written by himself and Tom Chilcoat, is set during the pandemic and stars Brian Austin Green in the lead role. However, it's not an over-exaggeration to categorize this movie as one of the worst movies in recent memory.

The Gray Man (2022) Movie Review
Ryan Gosling may not have played a superhero yet, but he gets closer than ever before in the mega-budget Netflix production “The Gray Man.” The streaming service's summer blockbuster is from the directors of “Avengers: Endgame,” Anthony and Joe Russo, and is based on the book by Mark Greaney. Netflix has opened not just their wallet, but an entire bank vault for the Russos to adapt the book with an eye to starting a new mega-franchise of their own. However, it’s becoming clearer and clearer that Netflix has too little creative oversight over projects like these, just letting creators run off with their money and not really caring about what they deliver.

The Black Phone (2022) Movie Review
At the age of 13, I experienced my first horror movie that truly left me trembling. It was Scott Derrickson's "Sinister," and even after rewatching it multiple times and seeing countless horror films since then, it still manages to send shivers down my spine. So, when I heard about "The Black Phone," a film directed by Derrickson, co-written by Robert Cargill, and starring Ethan Hawke, I knew I had to watch it.

The Last Of Us Vs The Walking Dead: Which Series Is Better?
The Walking Dead has been the dominant post-apocalyptic series on television since its AMC premiere on Halloween in 2010. Created by Robert Kirkman, the story follows Georgia Sheriff's Deputy, Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln), and takes on the world in the aftermath of a global zombie pandemic. Having origins as a series published by Image Comics in 2003, the show has since branched off into six spin-offs, each with its own perspective within the overall narrative. Its reception may have gone through waves, but its success is undeniable even as the main storyline came to an end with its 8th and final season in 2022. It's a legacy that may very well outlast the creator with very little coming along to challenge or compare to it.

Last Seen Alive (2022) Movie Review
Gerard Butler, the Scottish actor known for his roles in 300, Law Abiding Citizen, and Phantom of the Opera, has had his fair share of career highs and lows. While he has shown promise in certain roles, his poor choices in film have resulted in several lackluster performances over the years. Among his worst performances is his role in Last Seen Alive, a thriller that fails to deliver on every level.

In Anna Gutto’s melodramatic thriller “Paradise Highway,” Sally (Juliette Binoche) is a big-rig trucker traversing America’s south. A few unknown factions within the prison thrash him and demand that his sister pick up and transport a package across state lines.
