Geeky Weddings That You Won't Believe
I planned my wedding in two months, in a city I had never lived in, before Pinterest. So what I’m saying is that it was all generic fake floral centerpieces in a church gymnasium and everyone drank 15 cents a gallon red punch. What flavor was it? Red. I already said that. (There was no other flavor, sadly.) For those of you who have the good fortune to have a reasonable period of time to make wedding plans and a future spouse who’s just as nerdy as you are, here’s your inspiration. Whether you love video games like Super Mario and The Legend of Zelda, book series like The Hunger Games, or pretty much everything geeky under the sun, here are some couples who really went the distance when it came to making their special day just THAT much more special. For the most part, the bride and groom made the detailed costume pieces, centerpieces, bouquets, shoes, favors, and much more, showing a whole lot of dedication as fans as well as to each other. And if you just can’t get enough of this nerdy magic, check out the incredible website When Geeks Wed, where you’ll find pages upon pages of every geeky wedding detail you could possibly dream of.

Where Would Darth Vader Go on Vacation?
Different people worry about different things. Families, careers, life goals, yada yada. Occasionally we worry about “trivial” things, too. Why didn’t Obi-Wan remember R2-D2 in A New Hope? Exactly how long did Luke spend training on Dagobah in Empire Strikes Back? There’s lots of things to consider when it comes to Star Wars, and consider them, I do.

Check Out The Coolest 'Guardians of the Galaxy' Cosplays
Oh, Guardians of the Galaxy, how I love you. From the best Vin Diesel role of all time - I think a huge key here was covering him up with a CGI tree suit and only giving him three words to say - to the rocking soundtrack I have on repeat, it’s a seriously underrated movie that you can watch again and again. Not surprisingly, there are a lot of cosplayers out there who’ve made it their job to flawlessly recreate the characters. From Gamora to Groot, here are some of the best Guardians of the Galaxy cosplays from around the web. Try these on for your next con or save an especially challenging one for Halloween next year.

Adding Height In Cosplay
Height. It’s one of those things you can’t really do much about in cosplay, isn’t it? You can turn into a purple alien, a lizard person, or a cyborg through the use of makeup, you can get your werewolf or elf on with prosthetics, and you can drive people up the wall with your Waluigi vocal imitation, but you can’t get from 5'6 to 5'11 without throwing on a pair of six-inch heels and going as the stripper version of your character.

'Doctor Who' Kitchen Products For Holiday Meals
The only thing Daleks will be exterminating this holiday season is the turkey or ham! They’ll probably overcook it, but the Doctor always has a backup plan for you. Unfortunately, your favorite British alien probably won’t be in attendance at your holiday dinner. However, you can still feel the Doctor’s presence with some cool geeky Doctor Who products. The only way it could be any better was if the Doctor Who Christmas Special got swapped for a Thanksgiving special. But unlikely, given the British don't celebrate Thanksgiving.

Insane Harley Quinn Cosplay Costumes
Many of the characters in the superhero genre have been around for almost half a century, if not more. This is what gives them that sense of almost being legendary, but one particular character has become the fastest legendary character in recent memory of comic books. Harley Quinn. For many it comes as a massive surprise when you mention that Harley Quinn was only invented in 1993. Although originally only meant to be a henchman of The Joker, Harley Quinn has proved to be a powerful feminist icon in more of her later incarnations, and with any popular character you can bet your bottom dollar that there is a lot of cosplay, and Harley Quinn is no exception. Here are some of our favorite Harley Quinn cosplay costumes from the different incarnations of the character.

Professional Cosplayer Crystal Graziano
It’s a rare sight to see someone be a professional cosplayer. Many who attend conventions do it for fun and generally are fairly low budget. This isn’t to disparage what they’ve done, but when observing a cosplayer such as Crystal Graziano it’s fair to say that she deserves the title ‘professional cosplayer’. A google search of her name will bring up countless results of high quality cosplays ranging from Bioware RPG’s like ‘Mass Effect’ to Japanese Anime. But what does being a professional cosplayer even mean? How do you become a professional cosplayer, and is it simply looking pretty? Not in the slightest. For professional cosplayers it seems fitting to point out that, yes, cosplaying is usually their only source of income. There are very few in the world as of this moment, but more and more are coming into the fold as years go by.

Suicide Squad Cosplay Guide
Anti-heroes have become increasingly popular and Suicide Squad is following the momentum of Deadpool and Kick Ass. The blockbuster transforms iconic DC characters like the Joker into skewed criminal masterminds who are manipulated into deadly black ops missions (like breaking into Arkham Asylum, with the ruthless government patsy Amanda Waller serving as their gatekeeper). “I want to build a team of some bad people who I think are capable of doing some good,” says Waller, in the third trailer for the movie.
