The Walking Dead won the Eisner Prize for Continuing Comic Book Series in 2007 and 2010. The return of Barry Allen is somehow an unprecedented hint of modern comedy, combining ordinary human perspective with narrative. Modernity and understanding of ancient ideas make it one of the best examples of the latest myths of the 20th century and one of the best DC stories of all time. Although time and lots of strong Batman problems have since softened the first effect of Frank Miller's press.
