Comic Book Rewind
Welcome back to comic book rewind, where I watch older comic book movies and see how they hold up. Now I’ve got to round out the original X-Men trilogy so here we go with The Last Stand. This used to be my favorite X-Men movie as a kid, let's see how adult Alex handles this.

The Lean-in Feminism of 'She-Hulk: Attorney At Law'
She-Hulk: Attorney at Law was meant to be a meta-textual, feminist deconstruction of the MCU, and in some ways, it succeeds with this goal. Whether it's referencing Roxane Gay's Bad Feminist or jokes about women in the workplace, there are plenty of progressive nuggets for viewers to mine.

The Boys - Commentary and Analysis
The season opens with some really weird gratuitous nudity, sex and violence. The show is getting bolder as it keeps getting renewed, each season gets a little more gore and sex oriented which I hear is super close to the comics.

And I hope you can be once I state my case for each figure and try to judge them by some pretty fair criteria.

Why Your Favorite Franchises are getting "ruined"
We all know the situation. It's been happening to all your favorite stuff. Your favorite book series, movie franchise or video game sequel. Whatever it is, if you've been around long enough, your favorite thing has been "ruined" or you've seen people complaining about it. Either way, there's a very simple reason for it. Velma Dinkey is official confirmed as a lesbian
Velma Dinkey has been confirmed as gay Ken Spears and Joe Ruby were the masterminds behind Scooby-Doo Where Are You and the iconic characters Freddie Jones, Daphne Blake, Shaggy Rogers and Velma Dinkey. When the cartoon aired in 1969 life was shall we say more innocent. There was no such thing as an LBGTQ community and those who were gay males or lesbians kept their business private.
