The Boy in the Rain
I didn’t go for the game. I went for my nephew. He’s twelve, wears a faded jersey two sizes too big, and talks about football like it’s scripture. “It’s not just running and tackling, Uncle,” he’d said, eyes wide. “It’s about heart. About who shows up when no one’s watching.”

Illomen: Sol Rodríguez of Peacemaker stars in giallo-inspired vampire movie
Sol Rodríguez is best known for playing Mecha in the Nickelodeon Latin America series Grachi, Teresa Ramirez in the second season of Star Trek: Picard, and Sasha Bordeaux in the second season of Peacemaker – and now, she has the lead role in the giallo-inspired vampire movie Illomen, which Deadline reports recently wrapped production in Los Angeles. I know that title looks odd when starts with a capital I, so I should note that Illomen = “ill omen.”

Seven 100-Word Movie Reviews
Zootopia 2 (2025), Directors, Jared Bush and Byron Howard I really liked Zootopia (2016) when it first came out, and I wish I had seen it in theaters. That wish came true, except this time for Zootopia 2. Zooptopia 2 brings back the fun, animated world and strong dynamic between Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde. These characters are incredible and have so much depth. Something felt missing to me. The film is predictable. It’s amazing what animators and writers created for this exotic world, but it’s repetitive in its message about teamwork. Directors Jared Bush and Byron Howard deliver an emotionally investing story, but could have explored more areas.
