The Best of Laura Dern
It's safe to say that 2019 was a year in the film industry that belonged to Laura Dern. Starring in two of the most highly-praised films of the year, Dern proved to the world why she continues to be a titan in the acting business and schooling the children in how best to represent strong female characters onscreen. Winning an Oscar on her birthday for her portrayal of no-bullshit lawyer Nora Fanshaw in Noah Baumbach's moving flick 'Marriage Story', Dern's academy award success was deserved, but long overdue.

Conchata Ferrell is one of the greatest women actresses alive that I know. She's funny, she's quick on comebacks and she doesn't put up with stupid if you know what I mean. Bruce Lee: The Legend of the Dragon
One of the earliest recollections I have as a teenager took place more than 45 years ago, probably due to the 1974 miner’s strike and the “three-day week” which interrupted lessons at our school. For some reason I can’t recall we were sent to the youth club attached to the school premises, where staff had set up a screen for us to watch a movie.

A Dragon of An Angel
Angels don't always speak softly because they could roar like Dragons The only thing I ever knew about Amy Whinehouse was Rehab, but one cold night in Kansas while watching Glee, I heard about another song from this songstress, and it was called Valerie. When Naya Rivera sang this song, I found others like "Our Day Will Come" and "Back to Black," which she would eventually do towards the end of the season.
