300 Rise of an Empire Review
Sparta was not governed by a single king but was a strange case of a two- headed monarchy in which Leonidas was in charge of the military and where some ephors (chosen by the gerousia of thirty elders) controlled the sovereigns. The ephors of 300 are shown as a group of inbred and corrupted carcamals, who allow themselves to be bribed by the Persian ambassador to manipulate the prophecies of the Pythia and prohibit the call to arms with the excuse of the celebration of the Carneas , a festival of purification during which everything was paralyzed and that had already prevented the Spartan troops from reaching the battle of Marathon on time.

The Sea Beast Review
Maisie Brumble, the feisty protagonist of Sea Beast , is a little girl with a gigantic personality and off-the-wall sass. At the beginning of the story, she is determined to claim her place in the monster-hunting tradition of her seafaring country; by the time she finishes, she has turned that tradition on its head, in ways that are not only incisive and profound, but deeply moving. Chris Williams, whose directorial credits include Big Hero 6 and Vaiana, has made a fantastic-looking and moving film, one whose emotional undercurrents are made all the more potent by being downplayed amidst the stunts.

300 Movie Review
Comic fans, at least those of us who don't limit our tastes to the ubiquitous and absorbing manga, enjoyed in 1998 a new delight from Frank Miller, an exceptional cartoonist and screenwriter who had already captivated us with his Sin City series. On this occasion, he changed the appropriate black and white of the detective genre for color, just as he passed from that indeterminate modern era to antiquity, to illuminate one of the legendary stories of Classical Greece in 300. An exceptional graphic novel that, like what happened to the other, also subjugated the world of the seventh art and was adapted by director Zack Snyder, who had become a revelation with his first film, Dawn of the dead.

As we'll see in this review, The Gray Man has what it takes to become another big hit on Netflix. It has a luxury cast, a budget of more than 200 million dollars, a huge advertising campaign and behind the scenes it has Joe and Anthony Russo. They are the brothers responsible for some of the biggest hits in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

I Am Not Your Negro Review
The first thing to do before watching the brave documentary film I'm Not Your Black is to ask yourself a question: why does a film like this still exist on the billboard today? One would like to think that in 2017 it would not really be necessary to review the problems that plagued humanity fifty, one hundred, two hundred years ago . Except for those that are related to indefensible concepts and that many of us considered –or wanted to consider– anachronistic, such as intolerance, racism, discrimination. But then comes Raoul Peck , a Haitian man, black, political scientist and sympathizer of the left to stamp a cake of reality on our faces and rip us out of our ridiculous intellectual onanism.
