Sweet Dreams Hotstar Review

Now, if I review Sweet Dreams for you in one line, I would say it's a unique concept.

Look friends, I don't remember when we got to see such a concept in our Indian cinema before, meaning the thought was good.

Yes, in transition, you get to see many shortcomings and many flaws, but despite that, this is a new attempt, so it is completely justified to appreciate this.

Somewhere, this will attract the youth of today's Gen Z because you get to see similar stories and similar characters who are very much confused about what to do next in life, how to take their love life forward, not matching the vibe with everyone, not feeling well with everyone, seeing how much maturity someone has, you get to see all these things in this movie.

Apart from Gen Z, this movie might not attract the people of earlier times, but, surely, it will attract the youth of today.

It is good that this movie did not come to the cinema house because no one goes to watch such movies in which the star cast is not even known.

So OTT is the best option for this because the kind of audience available here will appreciate this type of content somewhere or the other.

Some of the characters are likeable and some are very unlikable.

Now I will tell you who are likeable.

First is the main character. There is clarity in his mind somewhere, but he is also a confused person, still, you get to see the kind of clarity.

Meiyang Chang is here and his character seems quite mature in everything.

Apart from this, our hero, Amol Parashar, has a girl in his life. She is the most mature character and I relate to that character somewhere. So whoever it was, they acted very well and portrayed the character very well.

Amol Parashar also looks very suitable in his role, his work is also very good.

Mithila Palkar was such a confused character; what should I say? There is no such confused character. Literally, there are no such confused character friends.

See, Amol is running after that girl because it has been 11 months since his breakup, and he is looking for a person of his own kind, which is fine. However, Mithila Palkar is already in a relationship, and that relationship has not ended. Despite this, she is running after him like a madwoman.

In the meantime, she is also confused about what she wants to do in her life.

When she sees that there is some girl with Amol, she becomes frustrated again.

Then she goes to Meiyang Chang's character.

Now, it's okay that you showed such a messed up character, but after showing this character, some kind of solution should be seen if a character is so confused, then what is the solution for him? The movie does not talk about the solution.

One thing I say every time is that it is not necessary to just point out the problem, what should be its solution, that thing should be shown, which was not there here.

Well, I liked the ending of the movie a lot; I mean, the ending is not of the typical kind; they have tried something different in the ending, so that thing was worth appreciating somewhere.

Conclusion

In short, You can give a try to this picture for its unique concept.

I will give Sweet Dreams 6 and a half out of 10.

The music of the movie is good.

If I talk about parental guidance, then you do not get to see any nude scenes or vulgarity in the movie.

The movie is of slow burn kind, so have some patience.

I hope you liked the review, so like it; if you liked it a lot, then don't forget to support me by subscribing.

See you have a good day.
