While watching videos on YouTube for my favorite scene in the Sonic the Hedgehog 3 film, I came across the Featurette video where actor Keanu Reeve the Voice of Shadow the Hedgehog, talk about the reveal of Shadow how he felt excited and pressured about doing the voice for Shadow because a YouTube video of the audiences reaction from the post credit scene from the Sonic the hedgehog 2.

The footage was from Youtuber Nintengirl64 and the video shows the fans excited, jumping for joy and screaming for Sonic 3 because Shadow is a fan favorite, (yes, I know the film came out already and Sonic 4 is in the works) After that, I came across two Youtuber Channels that pointed out details that they found in the film Sonic the Hedgehog 3, that could help build Sonic 4. Here are a few things. Shout out to the YouTubers I am mentioning, be sure to check out their channels and like their videos.

Youtuber @SceneCorner brings up the fact that in the beginning of the film Shadow is walking among people in Tokyo and the citizens aren’t freaking out however in the first film When Tom meets Sonic for the first time, Tom freaks out and shoots Sonic with a tranquilizer. Click the video below to see what I mean.

So, why didn’t anyone freak out when Shadow walked in the streets? Here’s what I think. In Japan, a town called Harajuku is known for its colorful street art and youth fashion. In this town, Cosplay reigns supreme; whatever you can think of, you can make or find here.

The picture above is Harajuku Fashion Walk #11 – Kawaii Summer Fashion & Fun in Tokyo – Tokyo Fashion. The city of Harajuku is a 20-minute drive from Tokyo, or in Shadow’s case, a teleportation. So, perhaps the Japanese people assumed Shadow was a local in a costume, just showing off his cosplay. But that all changed when G.U.N. (Guardians Units of Nations) surrounded Shadow at the crosswalk.

Another thing Youtuber @SceneCorner brings up is that Metal Sonic wasn’t destroyed.

This might seem impossible to believe, because in the first end credits we see the arrival of Metal Sonic. We see Metal Sonic wanting to annihilate Sonic, but Sonic manages to escape the shot, and Metal Sonic gets a punch in the face. Next, we see a herd of about 13 Metal Sonics launch an attack towards Sonic, only to be smashed into pieces by a spinning Picco Picco hammer, and the arrival of the cutest pink female hedgehog, Amy Rose. Youtuber @SceneCorner points out this comment because if you look close or better yet, pause the film, you will see that Metal Sonic is a dark navy blue while the other Metal Sonics are grey, it may be hard to see since the scene is at night but with the help of the now shattered full moon. There is enough light to show the battle and Amy Rose.

Youtuber- @CineSigmaFacts brings up the throttle on the wrong side of the handlebars. In the footage this is pointed out on the timeline 0.30. I’m not a motorcycle rider, and I ignored this detail until I came across this YouTuber's channel page. -There is something wrong when Shadow gets on his bike (Dark Rider, as it is known in the game).

Shadow revs the bike, but it is on the wrong side of the handlebars; the throttle is always on the right side, not the left. Was this an error the animators forgot, or was there a purpose? Here is my opinion: The Bike is from G.U.N., so maybe this was done to prevent theft; they must have put it on the wrong side. This reminds me of a bike called the Backwards bike.

A bicycle that turns in the opposite direction when the handlebars are turned. It is designed to make riding difficult due to the counterintuitive steering mechanism. So, imagine trying to get away and being unable to get far. Well, maybe that’s why Shadow has that bike; he managed to use his high alien intelligence and his Chao’s energy to control the bike. I mean, it could be that because in Japan, cars have their steering wheel on the opposite side. But after checking with a neighbor who works at a bike shop, I have confirmed that in most countries, motorcycle throttles are typically located on the right-hand grip, not the left. What is located on the left-hand grip is used for clutch control. This standard configuration is widely adopted globally and doesn't vary based on the country's road traffic direction. I don’t think Shadow would need clutch control.
