Sally manipulates Chloe on ‘The YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS’

On THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS Sally Spectra is like a cat with 9 lives who always lands on its feet. She reports she’s from the ashes like the mythological Phoenix and moves on to her next victim. Sally plotted with Tara to get Summer Newman out of town and ended up with Summer’s Job. She thought she would end up n a relationship with Jack Abbott and now has lost everything. Jack rejected her and Lauren fired her but Ms. Spectra is still determined to succeed.

Previews for the coming week show Sally introducing herself to Chloe and viewers don't need spoilers to tell them what is coming next. The redhead has burned her bridges with the Abbots, and Lauren and needs a way to survive in Genoa City. She will probably make her plight known to Chloe and use her as a means to an end. Chloe is working for Adam and with Chelsea out of town, she does not have her good friend to pal around with.

Chloe and Sally will probably hit it off and find out they are kindred spirits. Those who watch THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS have been wondering ig Courtney Hope's character would exit the CBS drama along with Tara and now there is a hint of what is to come. Sally might talk Chloe into speaking to Adam on her behalf. The bad boy Newman might decide to give Ms. Spectra a job because he knows what it is like when everyone is against you.

Spoilers say that Nikki will be on the warpath and go after Sally big time because she hurt her granddaughter. It's not clear what Nikki will do but Sally will be feeling the wrath of the Abbotsd and Newmans for some time to come. She has incurred the ire of the two most powerful families in Genoa City but is determined to remain in town. If Adam hires her and a relationship begins this will naturally cause problems with his good friend Jack as well as his stepmom Nikki.

Viewers know that Nick recently warned his brother against setting his sights on Sharon again and Sally Spectra might be a good distraction. This would cause problems with the bond Nick and Adam have been forming and perhaps the tension between the siblings will increase. Nikki and Nick will not desire Sally to get a fresh start after what she did to Summer. The fact that Sally is remaining in Genoa City and meeting Chloe this week is a big clue of the possible direction she is headed.

Even if Sally does not get a job with Adam or attempt a romance with him viewers know that nothing good can come of her hanging out with Chloe. Sally is a leech and never admits any wrongdoing. Each time she talks to her grandmother she blames everyone else for her problems. Chloe is vulnerable and has allowed Chelsea to manipulate her on several occasions. Her bestie will be off screen for a while because Melissa Claire Eagan is going on extended maternity leave. Chloe basically has no connections to current storylines in Genoa City that would keep her on-screen.

Greg Rikaart who portrays Chloe's husband Kevin is working on a 5 episode miniseries for NBC titled DAYS OF OUR LIVES BEYOND SALEM. he has not been seen on THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS for quite some time. No one knows where Kevin and Chloe are living since they left the Chancellor mansion so they have been kind of floating around. Chloe has basically been a sounding board for Chelsea so until she returns she needs someone to connect to on the CBS soap. Teaming her with Sally will probably give both characters more screen time so be on the lookout for updates regarding what they will be up to.
