Robert Adamson can't seem to catch a break
Robert Adamson was a fan favorite as Noah Newman on The Young and the Restless. Viewers enjoyed his sweet romance with Allie Nguyen (Kelsey Wang) but the series dropped them to recurring status and then they were gone. The official reason was budget cuts, but this happened at the same time that Zukeyla Silver was hired as Audra Charles.
Audra came to Genoa City as Noah's ex-girlfriend who had miscarried his baby and wanted him back. She went out of her way to antagonize Allie. Soon, she had a storyline and history with Tucker McCall (Trevor Saint-John), and Noah was in the rearview mirror.
Some fans were angered because they felt that Jack Abbott's (Peter Bergman) granddaughter and Victor Newman's (Eric Braeden's grandson were sacrificed for Audra. Noah's Glam Club had been the Genoa City hangout, but it disappeared when he did.
The promise of General Hospital
Adamson's followers were pleased to see him as a recast three times for Chad Duell as Michael Corinthos on General Hospital.
Duell left the ABC soap after his father died to take time for healing. The door was left open for a return, but Adamson posted on social media that he believed he should have been asked to step in again. If GH execs were considering him, this post did not help.

GH has treated some cast members badly
Some fans also suggested that Adamson should portray Michael while Duell is away because the character is vital to several storylines. Several spoilers suggest that the actor's now-deleted post may indicate that there has already been a table read to recast the role. There has been no information to confirm this is true.
Adamson said he took on the role on short notice without time to prepare. This is admirable, but the GH brass did not see fit to use him while Duell is away. Spoilers and viewers say he has a legitimate right to be upset, but lately, the ABC soap has treated some cast members badly.
James Patrick Stuart was let go as Valentin Cassadine, and fans were stunned. Kelly Monaco was fired after 21 years on the series, and her character, Sam McCall, was killed, which shocked viewers.
What does the future hold for Adamson, Duell and Michael?
Duell has shared that he has lost weight and is growing mentally during his journey. He has not said if or when he will return to the ABC soap. Was Adamson only disgruntled because he was not asked back, or was he stating that other actors had auditioned for the role of Michael? Fans say he should have been the first choice if Duell was not returning.
