*Spoilers Ahead*
This drama balanced angst and comedy very well. This drama tried to manage the terminal illness plot which was the angst part of this drama alongside humour. The humor scenes were laugh-out-loud moments of this show while sad scenes will hit you hard. This drama was so refreshing to watch as this drama gave both male and female leads a storyline with equal weight. The male and female lead storyline was quite heavy and it is so nice that this drama gave equal importance to both the storyline.
The character Eo Heung was so lovely to watch. His love for the female lead was so touching. He is definitely a green flag and we as the audience could feel sympathy for him. His storyline was good as well. Even though he was hurting because the female lead chose the male lead, he still was a good friend to the male lead. I really loved their dynamic relationship. Towards the end, he was truly a good friend to the leads. His character was just lovely.
I really loved the humorous scene between all three of them. It was so fun to watch them on their road trip. I wished they had a longer road trip with just the three of them. They were chaotic, I loved every second of it.
I think the first part of this drama worked better when compared to last few episodes. Their constant bickering and their chaos were so fun to watch. But the last episodes I felt were a little rushed when the most part was only focused on the leads getting stranded here and there.
The ending was just tragic and rushed. We all knew the male lead was going to die but when it happened we were not prepared for it. I was sobbing seeing him die. I guess deep down we were all hoping that he would miraculously recover, but sadly that did not happen. Why I felt the ending was rushed was that after he died the series ended there, I wish we got to see a little bit further to what happens next. I would love to watch further how the female lead survives after his death. So I personally felt it was rushed.
Overall, I enjoyed this series more than I like to admit. It was a fun watch.
