Alright, listen up, WWE heads ( like me) , and let's get right into it. The word on the street is that WWE Clash in Paris is the final curtain call for the Peacock era of PLEs before the whole show packs up and moves to ESPN. You can feel the company wanting to go out with a bang, and on paper, this four-match card ( supposed to be five but naomi match was canceled ) has all the ingredients to do just that. But here’s the real scoop, something feels different about this one. Even though it’s the first major event after Summerslam, it doesn’t feel like a simple fallout show. To me, it feels like a hard reset, a chance to slam the door on the past few months and lay down a fresh foundation for the road ahead, and honestly, I’m all for it.

Now, before I break down all the action set for tomorrow, I need to toot my own horn a little bit. My predictions for Summerslam 2025 hit at a solid 7-5, a record I’ll proudly defend in this crazy business. Given that WWE creative has been on a mission to swerve us all at every turn lately, I’d say that’s more than respectable. So, you know you’re getting the inside track from a guy who knows his stuff. Trust me, I’ve got my ear to the ground and my eyes on the prize.

So, let's stop wasting time and dive headfirst into my breakdown for Clash in Paris. I am going to give you my full preview and predictions for what I think will go down in France, and more importantly, how I think the WWE uses this night to pivot and build towards the future. This is your boy, talking to you, not at you, so let's get into it.

John Cena vs. Logan Paul

Cena overcomes the viral villain, but a Beastly appearance post-match writes the real headline.

This whole situation throws me for a loop, considering these two were tag team partners just a few months ago at Saturday Night’s Main Event. John Cena is back in his classic good guy role, and Logan Paul, well, he was born to be a heel you love to hate. Using one of Cena’s precious few remaining dates on this match tells me there’s a bigger plan at work here. This feud has been all about re-establishing Cena as a top tier babyface, and I believe that mission is almost complete. The real endgame here is setting up that marquee match against Brock Lesnar that everyone is whispering about. I am predicting a clean win for John Cena tomorrow night, and I would not be surprised one bit if we get a vicious post-match appearance from The Beast Incarnate to really send the message home.

Seth "Freakin" Rollins (c) vs. CM Punk vs. Jey Uso vs. LA Knight - World Heavyweight Championship Fatal Four-Way

The Visionary survives the chaos, setting the stage for the one-on-one showdown with Punk we all truly want.

You have to give credit where it’s due, because WWE absolutely cooked with this main event. Every card needs that one match with a potential swerve, and I am afraid this is the one. A huge kudos to the company for once again giving LA Knight that main event spotlight he so richly deserves, and Jey Uso’s involvement amps the whole thing up from a perception standpoint. The story here is still ultimately about Seth Rollins and CM Punk, and their long simmering issues need a proper one on one blow off. I predict that Seth Rollins finds a way to retain his championship tomorrow, not because his story is over, but because it sets the stage for that final, epic singles match against Punk for the title down the line.

Sheamus vs. Rusev - Good Ol' Fashioned Donnybrook Match

The Bulgarian Brute evens the score in a brutal, weapon-filled war, leaving Sheamus standing but defeated.

Expect this one to be an absolute brutal, blood serving slobberknocker, just the way these two brawlers like it. Rusev’s return to WWE has not been as impactful as it could have been, but they are building something special here with Sheamus. Their chemistry is off the charts strong, and this feud gives them both a meaningful program while creative figures out their next moves. They have already put on a series of fantastic matches on Raw, so this Donnybrook is the perfect blow off match. I am predicting that Rusev gets the win here to finally tie the score with Sheamus, allowing him to move on to a new challenge with some momentum, because Sheamus really does not need the victory here.

Roman Reigns vs. Bronson Reed

The Tribal Chief weathers the Colossal storm, but this feels like chapter one, not the finale, for Reed.

Would I sound like a total wrestling mark if I suggested this should be a Roman Reigns Jordans on a pole match, just kidding, but seriously. This is a trenches fight through and through, and it is genuinely nice to see Roman competing outside of the title picture for a change. Bronson Reed is being built as an absolute massive heel on Raw, and he will no doubt make a huge impression in this high profile match against The Tribal Chief. I do not see the story between Reed and Reigns completely concluding here, as there is more meat on the bone. Therefore, I am predicting that Roman Reigns wins this match, though I will fully accept it if I am wrong on this one. It would be incredible to see Bronson Reed score a massive victory on a PLE.

So there you have it, my complete breakdown for WWE Clash in Paris. This event has all the makings of a classic transitional show, one that closes the book on the Peacock era while boldly stepping into the future with ESPN. The reset button has been pressed, and I for one am excited to see what new stories and rivalries emerge from the ashes of tomorrow night. The landscape of WWE is always shifting, and this PLE feels like the catalyst for the next big change.

Remember, in this crazy world of sports entertainment, anything can happen and usually does. My predictions are based on a careful read of the tea leaves, but even I get swerved sometimes. That is the beauty of being a WWE fan, you never truly know what is coming next. I am hoping for a show that delivers on all fronts and gives us moments we will be talking about for weeks to come.

I will be back after the event to see how my scorecard looks and to break down all the fallout. Until then, enjoy the show, and may the best superstars win. This has been your inside source, signing off.
