Maeri Web Series Review: It Feels Like a TV Serial

The story here is of a Mom movie, starring Sridevi, well no problem that the story here is taken from some other movie but it at least shows the intensity that was in the original movie, even in a Web Series there is a good scope to expand and develop other things but there was nothing like that here, there was nothing, a novel factor that the story content is good but other than that whatever things are there or should I say the execution, all of them are poor.

Maeri ZEE5 Review

Friends, the contribution of ZEE5 in the world of Indian OTT has not been that special. I mean that there has not been that much good content on this platform and the quality of the content was also quite low but somewhere in between ZEE5 upped its level and brought out some good shows, after that there was a hope that ZEE5 would make a splash.

Now recently a new show of ZEE5 has come, Maeri, about which not many people would know. I also saw it randomly and then thought, "Let's review it."

Now let's find out what kind of show it is.

So in Maeri, you get to see the story of a mother and her revenge that her daughter has been gang-raped and now she has to take revenge, whether she can take revenge or not, to know this you will have to watch this show which is available on ZEE5, it has seven episodes, the length varies around 25 to 30 minutes.

Now, if I describe the review of the Maeri Web Series for you in a few words, then it is masterpiece shit.

First of all, this doesn't seem like a web series at all. From any angle, it feels like we are watching a TV serial on the OTT platform. I mean, the production value seems so low that don't even ask.

On top of that, the type of sound design that has been done, the BGM that has been used, was giving the vibe of a TV serial completely.

There is no intense moment. There is no such thrilling experience.

Yes, but the good thing is that here you get to see the complete story in one season itself, which I liked.

Coming to the acting of the actors, some have done a good job, some have done a poor job and some have done a very poor job, meaning that it is not much fun at all and even in the journey of the characters that you will get to see, you do not feel any excitement for anyone, meaning that we are watching the show, the show is going on, the show is over, come on sahab, let's go home now, that was the thing.

Why does ZEE5 make such shows? It is literally beyond understanding. Don't make them. It would be better if you take some time, write it well and bring it at your leisure, but whenever you bring it, destroy it.

All I will say is that there is no fun at all in this show, I am telling you the truth, there is no fun at, there is no fun in the police investigation, the court drama is not interesting, and the revenge drama that started after that lacks high intensity.

So even after knowing all these things, if you still wish, you can watch the show.

I will give th series 3 out of 10. If I talk about parental guidance, there is no abuse, no vulgarity in the show.

So this was my review of ZEE5's new show, Maeri. Hope you enjoy it. Don't forget to subscribe for reading more related content.
