Most Insane Mad Max Cars
Thankful for its imminent return to the screen in 2015, Geeks has been furiously devouring all things Mad Max. Thanks to director George Miller maintaining the directorial reigns, Fury Road aptly captures the essence of the original trilogy. They all appear to follow a similar formula as well. Patchwork cars rev up similarly, actors' lines cue in at the same time, and the movie's action culminates in a crescendo of violence. Whether this was done purposely or guided by subconscious nostalgia is unknown, but we’re excited to see the road warrior return to the fury of the post-apocalyptic wasteland again. In honor of the return of a successful franchise, we compiled the most insane, action-packed, death-driving vehicles from the perilous universe of Mad Max.

Hilarious Superhero Spoofs
We don’t quite know how it happened, but over the past 15 years or so we have become infatuated by superhero films. X-Men is often credited as being the first great superhero movie, but it really kicked into pop culture in 2008 with the release of Iron Man. Ever since (with the notable exception of the DC universe) the movies have moved away from dark and depressing tones and messages to be more irreverent and full of quips, especially in the wake of films like Deadpool and Guardians of the Galaxy. So naturally, if superhero movies are going to get funny, the parodies of them are going to come thick and fast too.

Business of Being a Female Gamer
The relatively mild mannered “other” Ryan of 8-Bit Gaming posted an impassioned vlog entitled “This has to stop.” In the video, Ryan explains that he finally had enough of one woman’s presence on Twitch. Given Ryan’s usual focus on more positive aspects of gaming, “this has to stop” as a title definitely jumps out among his other videos. The woman in question apparently turned her channel into your average pay for play porn streaming site. Ryan’s problem with her was focused on the fact that the woman had potentially reached the eyes and ears of Twitch’s largely underage user base.

Female cosplayers have flourished through their ability to create their own costumes while building successful personal businesses.

Cosplay Is Not Consent
The buzz and excitement of a Con is unrivaled by any other geek/nerd/otaku gathering in existence. The single release of even the most popular video game or comic book is only a fraction of the atmosphere of a convention. Before you even get to the convention however, you may notice people around you that are headed to the same event. How do you know that they’re fellow convention-goers? Cosplay of course. At the 2015 New York Comic Con, a large sign stating “Cosplay is NOT Consent” greeted some hundreds of thousands of visitors upon entering the Javits Convention Center. The slogan is a part of a recent movement to end sexual harassment and tasteless treatment of cosplayers (mostly female) that may or may not be sporting revealing costumes of their favorite characters. The harassment ranges from the creepy but somewhat harmless photos without permission, to the full blown stalking, and even sometimes, sexual assault.

Modern America and Sex In Spartacus
Spartacus was an American television series produced in New Zealand, which premiered on Starz on January 22, 2010 and ended on April 12, 2013 after the third season. The show was inspired by the figure of Spartacus, an enslaved Thracian who became a gladiator in the city of Capua, and went down in history for having led a slave rebellion against the Roman Republic between 73 and 71 B.C. Starz focused the structure of the show on the dark events that took place during Spartacus' early life.

Creepiest Movie Characters Ever
You don’t want to be caught taking a shower at the Bates Motel. While movies always focus on the heroes, the true scene-stealers are the villains. Characters such as Norman Bates, Pennywise, and Buffalo Bill all make their mark on their horror movies and haunt audiences for the rest of their lives. Heroes are easy to come by, but creepy villains are truly one in a million. Sometimes it’s the way they dress, the sight of their lair, or the way they interact with other characters, but creepy characters can get under your skin...and some of the characters on this list wear other people’s skin as their own. Some of them don’t even kill anyone, but their murderous implications give you goosebumps. These are the characters that continue to keep you awake at night while you lay in bed. Created by some seriously twisted individuals, these characters will continue to live on and strike fear into anyone who comes across them.
