7 Superhero Movies Coming Out in 2017
Throughout 2016, all I heard when discussing movies was "Hollywood only makes superhero movies" and while I understand six different superhero movies were made in the year alone, I frankly don't care. I loved all the superhero movies that came out in 2016, some more than others (don't try to convince me the Martha thing wasn't stupid.) I'm super excited for the upcoming year, so here's your complete guide to all the superhero movies coming out in 2017, better known as, the only reason I ever go to a theater anymore.

Animal House is on Netflix and You Should Watch it if You Haven't Seen It
It may be the fact that six months have gone by since I graduated from Cornell. It may be the fact that Animal House is now on Netflix and I've watched it every other day. Or, maybe, it's the fact that college is cinematic in nature in so many ways.

'Gotham' Season 1 Pre-Batman Ultimate Guide
An often divisive superhero television series, Gotham is a show to be binged on. It is a fantastic voyage into the setting of the stage for what would be one of the most iconic superheroes ever, from comic book to TV to movies. Batman is a legendary hero. A hall of famer. And so is the city that created him. Gotham the series is less superhero TV than it is cops chasing bad guys. But the bad guys are not your common criminals. The bad guys are the stars of the show, and they are ruthless sociopaths who bask in the violent drama of gang warfare. Gotham is the story of a few good men just beginning a battle that will take many lives and last many years until a boy becomes a man and a city can take no more bloodshed.

Questions We Hope To See Answered in the Last Season of 'Grimm'
Grimm is a show that on paper, should never have worked. Throughout its six season run, Grimm has aired on 4 different days of the week but has stayed primarily in the Friday time slot where very few shows survive, and its main character is a former reality star on MTV's Road Rules: South Pacific. Despite the seeming limitations, Grimm turned out to be a perfect combination for a TV network. It is a procedural, so that means it has valuable syndication rights, but it also has a strong plot that runs through the season and that keeps viewers tuning in week to week. Grimm was originally optioned by CBS, but was cancelled due to the writers strike. In 2011, NBC announced they had ordered a series titled Grimm which premiered right before Halloween. Season 6 will wrap up the Grimm saga, so here's what you need to know about the last 110 episodes and what to expect from the final 13.

Highs and Lows of Super Mario Run
With over 50 million downloads in the first week, and almost doubling Pokémon Go in-app purchases on its first day, Nintendo can say they've won, once again. This time, with Super Mario Run. Pokémon Go did its job by reuniting the Nintendo community, but they needed a strong follow up. On September 7, 2016, Nintendo announced the arrival of Super Mario Run, a Mario revamp, and the next mobile game to take over the world for a week or so. I, like every millennial growing up in the late 90s/early 2000s, could not wait for a full blown Super Mario mobile game, you know, to kill time playing in the bathroom and what not. I waited the 3 and a half months until it’s December 15th release.

Does Black-ish Season 1 Stereotype African Americans?
Black-ish season one is like getting an MBA in Black-ish ideology. More than just Black culture, the issues of assimilation that Andre's family deal with are a part of every foreign culture's struggle to adapt to an ever changing society that tends to stereotype our differences. Ironically the battle to maintain identity, for Andre, is more often an individual and inward focused endeavor, than something that those around him see or feel.

Greatest Quotes by Famous Geeks
Geeks were talking like Jedis log before George Lucas thought of Star Wars Yoda speak. Stereotypes aside, geeks often are people who have a hard time fitting in to any one particular category. Not surprisingly they can become obsessed with multiple intellectual interests. Anti social only to the degree that many other people don't seem particularly interesting.

Reviewing 'Heaven Can Wait'
Warren Beatty's Heaven Can Wait begins in the same California hills where his Shampoo ended. But where George in Shampoo reached a dead end, Joe Pendleton embarked on a fanciful journey that he hoped would transcend death. The uality of Heaven Can Wait springs from the ease with which Beatty, who co-authored with Elaine May, co-directed with Buck Henry, and produced, transforms his sophisticated stud image into the awkward innocent who sets the film's screwball plot into action. However, while Shampoo's comedy seems to have stood the test of time, Heaven Can Wait's somewhat convoluted plot line of who-died-and-came-back-to-life-as-who? and focus on the 70s with its satire left it less well remembered than its counterpart.

Best Gothic Novels
Like reading spooky, atmospheric stories with a touch of mystery and romance? Apparently, you’re not alone. Gothic novels, which encompass all of these characteristics, have been around for more than 200 years. The gothic genre was originally named for the medieval style of architecture of the same name, because gothic novels were set in these creepy locations. Think castles with hidden doors, dark cellars, and secret passageways. Modern gothic novels take place in any setting, but are still true to the sinister mystery of the original genre. Let’s take a look at a mixture of historic and modern gothic novels—the top gothic novels you’ll want to be sure not to miss. However, be careful if you haven't read any of them, as this piece contains spoilers.
