This Mass Effect Cosplay Is Out Of This World!
I know, that title pun was an obvious reach, even for me - but I think I get a pass this time. Because like the rest of the world (or galaxy), I've had space on the brain for the past couple weeks. I know you know what I mean, come on - fine. Star Wars. I mean Star Wars, do I even have to say it? But while of course we're gonna keep rocking in a galaxy far, far away until the suns goes down, when I see a piece of fan-made awesome, especially from another long-time spacey favorite, I gotta share it, even if it's not what's making the planets go 'round. Good art is good art, regardless of fandom. But when it fits the sci-fi theme, that works out pretty nicely too.

Deadpool Is Back To Slay The Competition With Marketing Awards Nomination!
Here he comes again, fresh off giving the box office a jolly good rogering, the Merc with a Mouth has another NSFW video reminding us just how great his film really was. We love you Deadpool! Ryan Reynolds has once again slipped into his scarlet suit to explain to us exactly why he should win the coveted Clio Golden Key Award for "Best Integrated Marketing Campaign" — it all sounds very wordy, but as Deadpool would probably say, "We got shit done."

You Won't Believe It's Not Ink - This Is Real Life! Makeup Artist Transforms Himself Into Living Comic Book Art!
I'm always looking for awesome fan-created art and today I've found something amazing for you. Say hello to Makeup artist, body painter and model Argenis Pinal. His specialty, which you're gonna love... is cosplay. He puts his gift to work transforming himself into our favorite superheroes. But this is not your usual cosplay. While cosplay is always good, and every single one I've seen has brought something different to the table, Argenis Pinal goes above and beyond – because his style is 2D comic book pop art. It hits harder than a punch from the Man of Steel.

The Lego Batman Movie: 13 Cameos That Expand The Dark Knight's World
With his spectacular abs, gadgets aplenty and a wave of rave reviews, The Lego Batman Movie is an unequivocal hit. Focused on Will Arnett’s silly (and stubborn) version of the Caped Crusader, The Lego Batman Movie sees Batman tackle a host of super-villains, led by the Joker, voiced by Zach Galifianakis. But beating bad guys isn't the only challenge our daring hero faces — he also must confront the perils of parenthood when he accidentally adopts the young Dick Grayson (Michael Cera). And so, a hilariously madcap deconstruction of Batman — and his place in pop-culture — unfolds!

My Observations on Movie Franchises Part Two: How To Kickstart a Franchise When It Has Lost Its Way
In the last article I focused on some of the lesson' s learned from two great movie trilogies on what to keep in mind, when building a franchise and how to approach the beginning, the middle and the conclusion of it. But what about a situation where the problem is not setting up a franchise or concluding it, but getting it properly moving again. Lets look at three examples, where a franchise has been successfully kickstarted and what we can learn from them.

Something I'd Like WB and DC to Consider About 'Suicide Squad'
There’s about a ninety-eight percent chance you’re never going to see this anyway, but here it goes. Dearest WB studios, PLEASE release a "Joker cut" and a "rated R" cut of the Suicide Squad movie. I know this might seem like a moot point now almost a year later, BUT, with audiences divided on Justice League like they are, and you all still trying to figure out a formula that works for these movies (yes we can tell) wouldn't it at least be worth the effort to see if these version get a better reaction out of fans?
