Comic Excitement 2017 Was Bad for Attendees, Worse For Vendors
Comic Excitement Convention had its debut from Saturday, January 14th, to Sunday, January 15th and I had the chance to go. This was a first-year convention, but I had high hopes given two things. The success of Nerd Bot Con last year which became my reference point for what I can expect from a first-year con and the price of admission which was $49 for both Saturday and Sunday.

'Game Of Thrones' Has A Silent Killer — The Curse Of King Robert Baratheon
Time for a little Game of Thrones time travel — and no, not the Bran Stark kind. For this little fan theory, we are going waaaay back to Season 1 and the very first episode "Winter is Coming." In the aftermath of the current season's shocking "Battle of the Bastards," new evidence suggests that the Curse of King Robert Baratheon was placed on the Stark family back in 2011. Thank actor Mark Addy and his touch of death.

What I Learned From Photographing Hyper Dedicated Spider-Man Cosplayers
In an effort do more adventurous things with my life, I started going to cons again this year. To say that it's been an interesting experience is a severe understatement. I've learned a lot of things along the way and have met some rather interesting people. One thing that stuck out to me, of course, is how insane the cosplay scenes have gotten.

'Game of Thrones' Season 6 Finale: All Men Must Die, But Who Will?
Everyone knows that In Game of Thrones, you win or you die, and it looks like next week's finale, "The Winds of Winter", could live up to that mantra quite well. Whilst we are still reeling from Episode 9 - as the show offed poor little Rickon Stark and kind-hearted Wun-Wun the giant - there is no time to get sentimental. Episode 9 is stereotypically your big hitter of the season, but the promo for Episode 10 doesn't show any sign of the action slowing down. By the looks of it, there will be a courtroom drama over at King's Landing as Cersei AND Loras face their trials, as well as your usual ice and fire strife. With this in mind, let's run down who is most likely to 'hold the door' in the season finale and joining the Game of Thrones ever growing In Memoriam section.

This Tarzan and Jane Cosplay Will Absolutely Blow You Away
There have been a lot of really fantastic cosplays popping up lately. I even took a minute to feverishly rant about one recently. My social media feeds have been awash with fantastic stuff and that's always exciting. I have a mountain of appreciation for cosplayers, especially when they absolutely nail it. What really caught my eye this time around was this great Tarzan and Jane cosplay done by Lonstermash and Joanna Lynn, respectively. Alexander Skarsgård and Margot Robbie are cool and all, but these two should probably be in their own live action adaption, too.
