From Page to Screen: How Faithful Is 'Spider-Man: Homecoming' to the Original Comics?
Spider-Man: Homecoming is a Marvel movie like no other. Jon Watts is incredibly aware that he's dealing with the ultimate legacy character, a hero whose adventures have been chronicled nonstop in comics since 1962's Amazing Fantasy #15. At the same time, though, he's also conscious that this is the third iteration of the wall-crawler we've seen since 2002, and Amazing Spider-Man 2 was only released three years ago. As a result, Homecoming takes a very different approach to adapting the comics than anything we've seen before.

At this point, it's hard to dispute that the first Guardians of the Galaxy was a phenomenon. Everybody thought Guardians might be the moment when Marvel jumped the shark; after all, they were making a movie that starred a walking tree and a talking raccoon. "An American in Paris" - Review
My trip to see the West end production of “An American in Paris” at the Dominon theatre in London on the 27th November was full of cheer and an absolute delight. The show was beautiful to watch and had a romantic charm throughout with a storyline I wasn’t expecting. The show is set in Paris in 1945, just at the end of World War Two and after France had been liberated from Nazi rule. The show follows the story of three men who are in love with the same girl, Lise Dassin, an exceptional Ballet dancer who successfully auditions for the Paris Ballet. One of the three men being her fiancé, the other being the pianist for her Ballet piece she is in, and the third being the man who steals her heart. The historical context of the show was translated well through the dialogue, movement, music, costume and set and had a real authenticity surrounding the era it was portraying. The show has highs, lows, and intricate moments highlighted beautifully through movement, set and lighting.

Our First Epic, Terrifying Look at Surtur in 'Thor: Ragnarok' Is a Super Cute Funko Pop
Last year at San Diego Comic-Con, Marvel Studios left fans delighted by revealing concept art from Thor: Ragnarok. The images were never released online, but Marvel's liveblog of the event noted that they included the fire demon Surtur. It's definitely appropriate for Surtur to be involved in the film — after all, he features heavily in the Norse poem Völuspá, which tells the tale of Ragnarok.
