Magic Trouble Shooting
What Is Magic (Vol. 1 Issue 1) Author Note: I originally wrote The Magic Trouble Shooting series in 2012 - 2014 and I left it alone. It was going to be sent to Richard Kaufman at Genii Magazine but I never got a response from Kaufman after pitching him the idea. My ideology and thoughts on magic have changed but I have not bothered updating - I want to leave the content of the series as it is as a benchmark to my own growth - I will probably revisit and the series with updates. Please enjoy and I'd love to receive feedback. Let's begin.

Who Will Sit on the Iron Throne?
The fantasy series A Song of Ice and Fire has manifested itself into a war between fear and love, where the only option is to win or die. The important theme of clashing demands between love and honour will be utilized in this essay to analyze characters that may rule the “known world.” The “known world” consists of three continents Westoros, Essos, and Sothoryos. For the purpose of this essay, there will be a specific focus on the political conflict in Westeros over who will sit on the Iron Throne. Machiavellian principles will be presented in this essay to analyze potential rulers for the Iron Throne. This essay will be combining topics number one and two, and will apply political strategy to answer the both questions. Political strategy, which is the art and science of utilizing political, psychological and power forces, will be a helpful tool to analyze the tactical movements of different players in the “game of thrones.” This essay will ultimately argue that Sansa will sit on the Iron Throne and become the ruler of Westeros because in the long term it is better for a ruler to be loved rather than feared.

Deja View
Love it or loathe it, it's that time of year, when the TV bosses and programme planners , and heads of department, are, no doubt, scratching collective heads and scribbling on clipboards in an attempt to decide which Festive programmes are likely to win the toss for Christmas 2018.

10 of the Most 'Meh' Movies of 2017
To put it lightly, 2017 was an interesting year for movies. Logan became the first movie since The Dark Knight to break the superhero mold, Wonder Woman topped every Marvel film at the domestic box office, Star Wars: The Last Jedi received a less-than-warm reception from fans, IT became the highest grossing horror movie ever, and an Edgar Wright movie made more than $100 million (Baby Driver).

Move Over Belle And Cinderella, 'Wonder Woman' Could Be A Disney Princess!
The recent super heroine film, Wonder Woman, came out kicking and lasso swinging as it left satisfaction among its viewers. The blockbuster broke the traditional aesthetic surrounding comic book films, introducing a new way to save the world with your friends –– and while doing so, included a scene touched with a bit of inspiration from one of Disney's popular animated films, The Little Mermaid.

'Star Wars: The Last Jedi' Provides Fun Scenes, But Fails to Give a Clear, Exciting Story
**SPOILERS FOR Star Wars: The Last Jedi*** Ah, The Last Jedi. Some people loved it, some people hated it, and some are like me, who had mixed feelings about Episode VIII in the famous Star Wars franchise. And even though you've probably already seen the movie, I'll be giving my spoiler-filled review of the film.

10 Movie Sequels That Never Happened
We have seen many successful movies since the film industry was born and when we watch a movie at the cinemas, or at home, we sometimes want more from the franchise. Many have seen filmmakers bring out a second addition to the first one including Jaws, Fast & Furious and Friday the 13th. But there have been potential sequels that ended up thrown in the trash can. Let's take a look at the film titles that could have been more...

A Review of 'Percy Jackson and the Olympians'
A common theme in my reviews is my ability to be unfashionably late when it comes to culture and media. Today’s case in point: Rick Riordan’s Percy Jackson and the Olympians series. My history with these books goes back a decade to when I was twelve. The middle school I went to would give each of the students a book at the end of each school year to read during summer vacation; the summer between sixth and seventh grade the book was The Lightning Thief, the first book in the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series. I started reading it but never finished for some reason probably because my twelve-year-old self was uninterested because the protagonist was a boy and there was no romance or pretty dresses. Flash forward ten years: In recent months, one of the people I follow on Pinterest has been pinning a lot of Percy Jackson related content which grabbed my attention and piqued my interest in the series. I then found an audiobook of The Lightning Thief on YouTube and had it on while I was doing work.
