The Eminence of 'Call Me By Your Name'
As a group of my four friends and I enter the famed Tower Theater in Little Havana, Miami on a gloomy Friday evening, none of us had any idea of the magnitude of the film we were about to watch. On the outside, Call Me By Your Name, directed by Luca Guadagnino, looks like your classic love story between two young men, yearning ever-so-desperately for one another.

Life Story of Books
In Dierk Bentley’s song “I Hold On,” he talks about the moment he had with his father in his truck or the meaning behind his guitar. Like Dierk Bentley, we infuse memories into objects of importance to us. We hold on to pictures, beds, toys, cars, and maybe even tickets or wristbands given to us by dear friends or family. Everything we have has a memory attached to it, giving people a desire to experience more in the world creating new memories to enjoy by themselves or with another person. Books are that unique way for me to express myself and allow me to go on a journey no one else but I can experience. From the moment I picked up my very first book, I’ve been lost in many worlds facing challenges around every corner as I escaped from this reality.

My Favorite Anime
Anime has always been my favorite pastime since I was in the tenth grade. I found out what anime genres I prefer and which ones I tend to stay away from. So far in the past four years of watching anime, I have composed a list of anime that I have fully enjoyed and my honest opinion of it. As you read this, some of you may have seen most of these while the rest of you might want to add this to your "Anime Watch List". Each of these anime are unique in their own special way and the creators behind them are to be equally appreciated in the same way. So as you have or will watch these anime, take the time to appreciate the artwork and storyline.

Why I Never Read Books
Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD) was something I didn’t know I struggled with my whole life until I was a freshman in high school. Once I was diagnosed, it explained why I disliked and had a difficult time reading. Comprehending a story while reading, it was a skill I dreamt of having, yet I never connected it to having a disorder. Finally getting the treatment and medication I needed was the key to achieving this skill.

Is HQ the Next 'Jeopardy'?
If you are of a certain age, you grew up with Jeopardy. In fact, you would be one of around 11 million viewers that regularly watch Alex Trebek each night as he lightly condescends clues to hopeful contestants. It is the second most popular game after Wheel of Fortune in the Western world.

How 'Trolls,' 'Moana,' and 'Kubo and the Two Strings' Teach Us Compassion, Empathy, and Understanding
In 2016, three (children’s) movies touched on an important theme. Today, I’m going to talk about them, and why these movies are important to our survival as a species. (Yes, you read that right. And no, I’m not exaggerating.) These movies are: Moana, Kubo and the Two Strings, and Trolls.
