Top 10 Best Moments in 'Die Hard'
If you're an avid action movie watcher like me, then you have to have watched Die Hard. The 1988 Christmas action thriller is definitely my favorite action movie of all time, and its sequels, while none were as good as the original, remained entertaining nevertheless.

My Top Five Edgy Musical Soundtracks
Being apart of Theatre has always been important to me. Being a musician, in general, provokes a love to musical theatre. The only problem is I'm a pretty edgy person. I don't do frilly often which makes it difficult. A lot of popular musicals tend to have a softer feel. Whereas I love music that makes me want to rock or groove. So I've put together my top five edgy musical soundtracks for all my Theatre babes to enjoy.

The Reality of Being a Female Nerd
The Geek community has been around for years. A community most popularized by the release of Star Wars: A New Hope in 1977. This community houses fans from all genres including video games, DC and Marvel, Disney, Star Wars, and several other franchises. There have been many changes to the community. The community that was originally laughed at and stereotyped to be the awkward, glasses wearing nerds has now become that majorly cool group you want to be a part of. Spawning multiple conventions across the world. Making names for popular gamers and cosplayers. It's a community that continues to grow. However, I think the biggest change has been the growing popularity of the female nerds.

Why Cosplay Accuracy Is Overrated
Cosplay is something I've been in love with since 2014, and I don't have any plans of stopping anytime soon. Seeing cosplayers on social media and in person shows me that we're all unique and talented. Whenever you post a picture of your cosplay, you're flooded with likes and fantastic comments. However, with the good comes with the bad. You cosplay as your favorite character and suddenly, someone comes in your comment section on your social media page and says, "You look nothing like your character" or "So and so character is this race. Why are you doing this character?" I can remember someone saying this to me at a convention called the Art Pop Comic Expo in Springdale, Arkansas back in June 2017.

'The Handmaid's Tale'
My junior year I was blessed to have one of the best English teachers to ever exist. English teachers themselves are blessings already, but this one, Mrs. Harpster, has been one of the best. All year she'd recommend, subtly, her favorite book, which happened to be The Handmaid's Tale. She never revealed too much and as the year progressed the Hulu trailer began to accompany her two sentence explanations. Our entire class was intrigued. None of us got around to reading it, but it was in all of our minds. For that I thank her; however, that was a year ago... This year, my final long and drawn out year of high school, I was assigned an independent project. Many book titles were hurtled my way, but as soon as I saw The Handmaid's Tale on that list, I knew it was time. And time it was.

My Five Favorite Plot Twist Endings
One of my favorite film genres is Psychological Thrillers/Mysteries. I know a lot of people don't want to think while watching a movie, but I love it when movies make me think. And nothing is better than a total plot twist ending. Even when they kind of piss me off at first, I can't help but love when I have to look back on the whole film and rethink everything I thought I knew. And an amazing twist that blows your mind while still making your film experience enjoyable is hard to pull off. So many movies now try to make themselves appear smarter with twists, but they just don't work. But it does make the clever ones even better. So why not share some of my favorites?

The Origin of the Green Lantern: Jessica Cruz. Top Story - July 2018.
Jessica Cruz is the most recent Green Lantern of Earth, making there a total of 6 human Green Lanterns that protect Earth. That is way too many Green Lanterns to protect one planet, but I digress because Jessica is actually a very interesting character that I think many people will be able to relate to. Well... I don't know how many people will relate to her origin story.
