Hidden in Plain Dialogue (Introduction)
Dragons: Race to the Edge is one of my top favorite Netflix series to binge. While the show is aimed at a much younger audience, much of the plot is engaging for people of all ages. There's something to be said about the pure genius of the lines of dialogue that are clearly meant to entertain the parents or older siblings watching the show with young children. One of my personal favorites is an exchange between Hiccup and Trader Johann in the "Have Dragon Will Travel Pt. 1" episode from season one. Hiccup is asking Johann why Heather, a lone dragon rider, is attacking and looting ships:

The 'Titans' Trailer Got Some Things Very Wrong
Just recently, I was introduced to the animated Cartoon Network series Teen Titans and instantly fell in love. The characters are likable and fully fleshed out. The stories are exciting and fun. It's one of those kids that doesn't talk down to it's young viewers. So, when I heard there was a live action TV series in the works, I got excited. Then I saw the trailer.

Stereotypes
Take a second and think about all the movies you watch and have watched, the cartoons, the Disney movies, and the comedies on TV. Remember when you sang along with those Disney characters that you were so fond of, the very funny moments you watched of an overweight actor fall over because of their size, think about all those cartoons you watched when the girl with the glasses was considered the nerdy one, and the girl with the pink outfit was the appealing one. Music, movies, tv shows, magazines, and advertisements promote gender stereotypes to children where in today's world children are more involved with the internet, and, therefore, more affected by media. The images and stories kids see in the media play a significant role in framing their sense of "acceptable" in society.

12 Shows with LGBT Characters
So, I have a lot of movies and shows that I love to watch, but I get really tired of seeing only straight people and straight relationships. Therefore, I love finding shows that have good LGBT characters. Here are some of the shows that I've found that have these good LGBT characters, for everyone who, like me, freaks out when they find these:

There has always been a debate on who is the Strongest Hokage. This article will cover who is the Greatest Hokage—this will be done by ranking each Hokage based on the feats they achieved as well as how much they influenced the shinobi world and how they helped to grow the Leaf Village as Hokage.

Why We Will Probably Never See a 'Speed 3'
One of my favorite action thriller movies of all time is the 1994 film, Speed, which features Keanu Reeves as LAPD officer Jack Traven, who faces his biggest challenge yet when a terrorist puts a bomb on a bus full of civilians that will explode if it goes under 50 mph.

5 Novels to Read this Fall
I've been tangled in the love of reading all my life. It's kept me cool in the summer and warm in the Fall when the leaves turn apple red and the wind bears it's claws. We've had a lot of adventures together, reading and I, and it's been on those mind-bending and path-twisting escapades where I have found myself in extraordinary company.

No Man's Land
If you know anything about me, you know I love comics, specifically Batman comics. My all time favorite comic book series is the No Man’s Land series. This comic, along with The Dark Knight and Knight Fall, helped inspire the The Dark Knight Rises, which is one of my favorite comic book based trilogies.

Film Review: 'The Seagull'
This adaptation of the famous Anton Chekhov play called by the same title as the movie was wonderfully done. While keeping to a traditional setting, the direction of the movie was full of creativity and a real period drama aesthetic that we have all know and love.

The Shortcoming Artist
The Room is known as one of the worst movies ever made due to multiple factors such as its unrealistic acting and dialogue. In response, James Franco directed, produced, and starred in the comedic film The Disaster Artist, which tells the etiology of Tommy Wiseau, director and star of The Room, and how he was motivated to create such a critically savaged movie. The Disaster Artist contains similar attributes to Wiseau’s film, such as alike accents, dialogue, and costume designs, that not only contribute to making the origin story as realistic as possible, but also allows for humorous and lighthearted moments throughout the film. While Franco's movie is primarily targeted towards fans of comedy, it is also marketed towards the cult followers of The Room who want to continue to make light of Tommy Wiseau's movie and his abnormal personality that is highlighted in the film. Overall, considering the reliance of references from The Room, I think anyone who did not see or enjoy Wiseau’s film should not watch The Disaster Artist because although James Franco’s biographical comedy movie succeeded in providing hilarious parallels with The Room through the similar appearances of the characters and the accurate portrayal of Tommy Wiseau, the movie was not as amusing as expected due to the lackluster dialogue.

Growing Up Biracial Part 1
Racism. It sucks. It is a horrible awful act that hurts millions of people all the time. Not only is it offensive, and damaging, it's also a pretty tough topic to talk about. Which is why I decided to sit down and write this article, because a lot of people won't. Don't get me wrong, I never just woke up and thought, "Wow, what a beautiful morning, let's talk about something that makes people uncomfortable. Oh, I know, racism!" It doesn't work like that. It actually wasn't till quite recently that I decided to finally voice my opinions. The thought that spurred on this decision occurred when I first heard the news that Meghan Markle was going to be England's first biracial princess. After I finished my happy dance, I sat down to think about why I was so happy with this game changing princess. Mainly, because as little girl, I was (and still to this day) obsessed with Disney princesses. I had all the dolls, all the costumes, and all big dreams any Disneyprincess' had. But even from a young age, I noticed something. There were no biracial princesses.
