'American Pie 2' - Review
Comedy sequels are tough to make. Most of the time, they are simply the same film re-done with a few tweaks and worst of all, they fail to capture the magic of the first film and they fail to make you laugh. And while not as good as the first film, I can safely say that American Pie 2 is a is a fun time.

Top 6 Broadway Musicals You Need to See
My first broadway show I saw was Wicked when I was 11 years old. Ever since then I’ve been in love with them ever since. In total I’ve seen 12 different shows. I haven’t seen as many broadway shows as I would’ve liked to by now but out of the ones I have seen these are my top 6.

Why 'One Punch Man' Is Worth Watching
One Punch Man is an anime show based upon Saitama and the issues that he faces as one of the most powerful superheroes in the universe. Compared to other characters that we normally see and that are depicted in movies and cartoons, Saitama is not exceptional in many ways. He's bald, wears a yellow and red suite with a white cape and looks very, well, underwhelming. What he does possess is super strength and the ability to finish any conflict with a single punch, usually with minimal effort.

Why 'Strange Magic' Is Such an Underrated Film
At first glance, Strange Magic is your everyday starcrossed lovers trope. Two opposing groups coming together because of two people. It’s much more than that. It’s more like a beauty and the beast type story, without the Stockholm syndrome. The story is fun, the characters are relatable and it uses a variety of songs in a really engaging way.

'The Equalizer'—Review
At first glance, this movie screams mediocrity. The plot of an ex-CIA member, coming out of retirement to take on the Russian Mafia in Boston could have easily been a budget action movie that came out in January and it could have been mindless entertainment. However, put some talent behind and in front of the camera, and you have yourself The Equalizer, a movie that is surprisingly really well done.

Best Indie Superhero Movies
For the past several years, the market has been absolutely saturated with superhero films exploring the four superhero cinematic universes, and especially favoring the Marvel and DC Comics. With Marvel's ever-growing Cinematic Universe and DC's multiple attempts to make a Superman film that doesn't suck, it's easy for today's moviegoer to develop superhero fatigue. However, instead of giving up on superhero films entirely, I recommend you look into some indie superhero movies. While some of these films are actually from independent filmmakers, I think any film that avoids the over-produced Marvel/DC aesthetic counts as indie when it comes to superheroes.
