Krystle D’Souza ends Tamannaah Bhatia debate with powerful statement
Krystle D'Souza backs Tamannaah Bhatia amid ongoing 'Shararat' dance controversy

Krystle D’Souza recently addressed the controversy surrounding Tamannaah Bhatia’s dance performance in Dhurandhar amid ongoing speculation.
The 35-year-old actress, who is currently making headlines for her performance in song Shararat, came out in support of Tamannaah Bhatia during her latest appearance.
In an exclusive conversation with The Free Press Journal, she said, “She would have owned it. Approached or not approached, I’m sure she would have nailed it. Like, there’s no way that she wouldn’t k*ll it. Everyone would have done what they could do best.”
Krystle’s comments arrived at a time when online debates were growing louder, with fans and critics dissecting every detail of the casting and choreography. Social media platforms quickly turned into discussion hubs, where viewers shared opinions on whether the performance would have looked different with another actor in the spotlight. In such an environment, where assumptions often replace verified information, her words stood out for their calm and balanced tone. Rather than fueling speculation, she focused on skill, effort, and the idea that talent deserves recognition regardless of behind the scenes narratives.

Later in the interview, the Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai fame highlighted the importance of hard work and mutual respect.
Speaking to the outlet, she added, “So, there’s enough sun for everyone. Just to bring another person up, please don’t tear another person apart.”
This message resonated with many in the industry, especially at a time when public conversations around competition often become personal. Krystle’s remarks reminded audiences that success in entertainment does not have to come at the cost of another person’s dignity. Her emphasis on support over rivalry reflected a larger call for healthier dialogue among fans and professionals alike. In an era where every casting decision is examined and shared within minutes, her stance encouraged a shift toward empathy and appreciation for the work that goes into each performance.
This follows fan speculation that the song was first offered to Tamannaah Bhatia, which the team later denied.
The clarification from the makers did little to slow the buzz, as curiosity around the song continued to grow. Viewers were eager to understand how creative choices were made and why certain performers were selected. For many fans, the controversy only increased interest in the track, with discussions moving beyond casting to choreography, music, and visual storytelling. In this context, the voices of artists like Krystle helped redirect attention to the craft itself rather than the rumors surrounding it.
Vijay Ganguly, the choreographer of the sensational track, reflected on the challenges he faced while shooting the song.

During his conversation with Pinkvilla, he explained, “We were supposed to finish the song in two days. Till the time we got that right, it took us one and a half hour to get that shot. And I was panicking, saying, ‘Oh my god, how are we going to finish the song?’ But that shot is there in the film. It is going to be there for life, so you have to invest that time and effort so that everything is in sync. It happened, but that was unforeseen.”
Ganguly’s insight offered a rare look into the realities of filmmaking, where precision and patience often decide the final outcome. His account highlighted how even a single moment on screen can demand hours of rehearsal, adjustment, and emotional energy from the entire team. Such behind the scenes details gave audiences a deeper appreciation for the finished product, reminding them that what appears effortless on screen is usually the result of countless decisions and shared commitment.
Meanwhile, Dhurandhar is set to thrill fans once again with its upcoming sequel, slated for release on Thursday, March 19, after the massive success of its first installment.

With anticipation building around the sequel, conversations about performances, music, and storytelling are likely to intensify. The current debate, shaped by both fan speculation and thoughtful responses from artists, has already shown how deeply audiences engage with the world of cinema. As the release date approaches, the focus is expected to return to the film itself, where viewers can judge the performances on their own terms. For now, voices like Krystle D’Souza’s continue to offer a grounded perspective, reminding everyone that behind every headline is a team of individuals striving to create something memorable.
