Brad Schmidt is a soap vet

Brad Schmidt was born on May 31, 1979, in Cleveland, Ohio.In addition to acting he is a producer, known for House of Lies (2012), Yellowstone (2018), and Truth Be Told (2019). The 42-year-old is scheduled to portray Brando for 4 episodes on General Hospital and he is no stranger to daytime television. In 2002 Schmidt had roles on 2 CBS soaps. Brando is caught in the middle

On General Hospital Brando is in the middle of several situations but not in a major storyline of his own. He believes his wife Sasha Gilmore (Sophia Mattisson) is still grieving the loss of their baby Liam but does not know she is back on drugs. He also is not aware that his mother Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) is keeping Sasha’s secret. Gladys started out not wanting her son to date the face of deception but now has a bond with her new daughter in law and has become protective of her. . Brando is also close to his cousin Sonny Corinthos ( Maurice Benard). He became concerned on Tuesday when he found out someone was threatening Sonny’s businesses. That someone is Brandon’s younger cousin, Sonny’s son Michael Corinthos ( Chad Duell).

So far Brando has been able to remain out of Sonny’s mob world but now he might feel he needs to support him. As the tension mounts between Michael and his dad it’s possible Brando might try to broker peace. Sasha does not want her husband anywhere near mob business but this is more of a family affair.Gladys initially felt her son deserved a job in the Corinthos organization so this is one area where she and Sasha disagree. Brando may soon find he has to make some harsh decisions related to his cousin and his wife. He will be stunned to learn that Gladys is keeping secrets from him about his wife and this wil no doubt cause a lot of tension.
