Jen Ray, who portrays Chelsea, has been on General Hospital before as Sybil the psychic

The actress was a character in Port Charles in 2019 to assist Ava Jerome, but also had a word for Laura Collins.

Does Suzanne look familiar?

Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) have been friends for a long time on General Hospital. The women are hilarious together, with Diane being the voice of reason when Ms. Davis seems to stay in panic mode. They now work together and have combined their law practices. They also have an assistant in their new partnership named Suzanne (Jen Ray).

If the actress looks familiar, it's because Ray had roles in The Middle, Patricia Heaton's Parties, The New Normal, The Third Act, Satanic Panic, and True Blood. She was born in Darien, Illinois, and is also a producer. She was previously on General Hospital in 2019, where she portrayed Chelsea Lam, although some sites say her name was Chelsea Lambas

Ava, Laura, and Chelsea

Ray played Chelsea the psychic hired by Ava Jerome (Maura West) after the first clairvoyant, Sybil (Veronica Cartwright), did not work out. As a side note and some trivia, Cartwright was a child actress who starred in Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds). Her sister, Angela Cartwright, played Penny Robinson in Lost in Space.

Ava wanted to contact her deceased daughter Kiki Jerome (Hayley Erin), but Chelsea could not reach her. Instead, she told Ms. Jerome that Connie Falconeri (Megan Ward/Kelly Sullivan) and AJ Quartermaine (Sean Kanan) were speaking to her from the great beyond. She rattled Ava by revealing that they were angry with her.

Eagle-eyed viewers may recall that Chelsea broke the news to Laura Collins (Genie Francis) that Nikolas Cassadine (Tyler Christopher)was alive. Nick returned, but it was not Christopher. Nick Stable was in the role and was later replaced by Marcus Coloma, until Adam Huss took over.

Suzanne is not Chelsea

The two General Hospital characters portrayed by Ray could not be more different. As Chelsea, she was a bit over the top with her paranormal intuition. Suzanne is laid back and professional with a calming demeanor, which Alexis needs right now.

The former DA is being blackmailed by Ava and Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) and bearing the burden of knowing Kristina Corinthos Davis (Kate Mansi) cut the brakes on Ava's car, causing Ric and Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) to crash.

Ms. Davis sometimes looks about to snap at her assistant but always regains her composure. Suzanne is a gofer at this point, bringing tea and announcing to visitors. Lately, Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) has been showing up.

Will Suzanne be an asset or a liability to the law firm

Alexis and Diane working together should bring some fun episodes. Chelsea will probably hear a few things she should not be privy to. Will she remain loyal, or could someone like Sidwell bribe her to tell all? Eventually, Kristina's secret will be revealed, and Alexis will need her assistant more than ever to keep her grounded.

Will Suzanne remain on the sidelines running errands or take on a more active role? She is in a position to learn secrets from Diane and Alexis, but will she remain loyal? If someone like Ric or Sidwell attempted to bribe her to obtain information, would she stay loyal or turn on her bosses and sing like a bird?

There is no information on whether the character will be temporary or will stick around, but fans seem to enjoy her. The General Hospital execs must have been impressed with Jen Ray to bring her back to Port Charles.

Watch for updates related to Alexis and Diane to learn what's next for their partnership. Also, keep watching the Port Charles drama to see how Suzanne works out and whether she is a keeper or is fired.
