Is this it for Bo and Hope on Days of Our Lives?
Shawn Douglas shot his dad and there will be fallout.

Will it be bye bye Bo again?
By now Days of Our Lives viewers have seen the shocking Monday, April 24 episode where Shawn Douglas Brady ( Brandon Beamer) shot his dad Bo Brady (Peter Reckell). Bo had been holding a gun on Hope and just when she broke through and he called her "Fancy Face" Shawn and Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) arrived and did not hear the exchange. Spoilers only say that Shawn will be dealing with the aftermath of his decision and don't indicate anything about Bo's condition.
Spoiler alerts have teased for weeks that Bo and Hope Brady's (Kristian Alfonso) reunion would take an unexpected turn but would they kill him a second time? Everything came fast and furious on Monday as Harris Michaels (Steve Burton) told Meghan Hathaway (Miranda Wilson) that their dealings were over and filled Shawn Douglas in on the current situation and sent him to the home of Victor Kiriakis ( John Aniston) to find his parents.
Days of Our Lives viewers are hoping that Bo will not die again in Hope's arms which is where he was at the end of Monday's episode. Fans know that Bo and Hope were back for a short stint and were hoping they would ride off into the sunset together. Bo has not seen any of his family in Salem and Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) is angry because Bo has said he killed Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow). Spoilers have not revealed whether Kate is really dead so hopefully, more details about what happened to her will emerge.
Will Bo and Hope sail off into the sunset together?
Every online article related to Bo dying is a reference to when he had a brain tumor. As fans wait for the outcome of Monday's tragic shooting they have been saying they loved all the flashbacks of the memories of Bope in their heyday when they were the most popular soap couple ever. Early on the chemistry between Reckell and Alfonso was so strong fans wanted them to fall in love in real time but it didn't happen. There were also rumors that the duo did not get along in real time but you could never tell. Days of Our Live fans can only keep watching and waiting to find out how this storyline ends.
DOOL viewers are thankful that Alfonso and Reckell returned in Beyond Salem 2 and are back now to give closure. This brings clarity to why Marlena Evans Black (Deidre Hall), Kayla Johnson (Marybeth Evans), and Kate Roberts went through their ordeal. Fans have also enjoyed the brief return of Thomas Banks (Eileen Davidson). Some viewers are disappointed that Reckelland Alfonso did not return for good because initially, this is what had been believed.
Will Bo die and give Hope closure and she decides to make a life with Michaels or will he recover and the duo sail away to live happily ever after? Will they return to Salem or remain in Greece and what will happen to Harris? Will he make his home in Salem or move on and what role will he play in Salem if he stays? Stay tuned to Days of Our Lives on Peacock to find out what happens next and remember you no longer have to wait until 1:00 PM.New episodes air at 6:00 AM or 7 AM depending on your location. Be on the lookout for updates related to the fate of Bo and Hope and whether or not this is the end or if they return in the future. Make sure you tune in to watch what is coming next.

I feel as though I should have been eating a bowl of "cereal" while reading this. Our mother would never allow us to watch soaps, because her mother did & her mom was chronically depressed. Of course, our mom never watched them & she was about as depressed as anyone I ever knew. When dad watched the episode "Who Shot J.R.?" while he was home alone, I thought she'd never let him live it down. I love how you wrote this, making it sound just like a promo for a serial. I could almost hear the announcer's voice.
This brought back memories of Bo and Hope plotlines from the early to mid 90s. DOOL was *the* show to watch back then.
