Issues With iPhone –
Many users are complaining after installing iOS 18 beta version. Common issues with iOS 18 beta are iPhone heats too much and battery drained quickly, iPhone restarts every 15 minutes, Apps crashing, iPhone running slow, notifications not showing, Siri not working, iPhone stuck in recovery mode, etc. These are the common issues that users are facing during installation of beta version or after installation of beta version.
These are the common issue, but I have watched people posting reels on Instagram that their iPhone does not work after iOS beta installation. Some users posted that they have replace the iPhone Screen and remove the beta version and then they are able to use the iPhone. This is mainly with iPhone 13. Because most of people have faced problem with iPhone 13. One of mobile expert shared a reel of failure of iPhone 13 motherboard after installing Ios 18 beta version. I don’t know how it effects the motherboard, but if you asked me to install the 18 beta version then I will say NO! Big No. The safer version of Ios 18 will available when the new iPhone 16 will launch or public version of ios 18 will be release.
If you have install the new 18 beta or want to install anyway, then here are some steps to keep in mind before installation -
Full Backup Your iPhone Before Installing iOS 18 Beta
If you think that you will not experience any above issues, then I suggest you to make full backup of your iPhone before installing it new iOS 18 beta. Because if you don’t do full backup then the only way to go back to iOS 17 is to restore your iPhone as a new device. This may result in loss of data, settings, photos and other important information you might not want to loss.
You can create a backup using iTunes or iClouds. Both are safe options. I suggest you to create backup both iTunes and iClouds. Because if you lose one backup somehow than you can use another backup. Below is the way to create a backup of your device-
For iCloud Backup-
- Go to Settings
- Tap on your Name
- Select Your Device from the List
- Select iCloud Backup
- Tap on Backup Now
For iTunes Backup-
