Struggling through the wait for the next season of "The Witcher", I was feeling quiet restless. For those who don't know The Witcher is a fantasy, Show on Netflix. I normally don't follow fantasy adventure to well. When I selected it I was really bored and burned out from watching "Breaking Bad" and "The 100". Licking my wounds and longing for more of these type of shows I selected "the Witcher and was hoping for the best. While I loved Lord Of The Rings mostly because I read all the books. I find most shows and movies of the fantasy adventure to have horrible acting, and lame story plots. "The Witcher" however was very well done. The stormy, odd, troubled Hero and his misfit magical companions mix well with the story plot and held my attention all the way to the end of season one, and made me anxious for the next season. Pinching the couch cushions in frustration I was reeling in my head! Like a child awaiting Christmas I tried to embrace any other show that could keep my interest on the same level.

Scrolling through the titles on Netflix I came to the title for "Cursed". Honestly my expectations where low. I have found throughout my show and movie viewing experience that anything that is about or has Merlin the wizard in it, is usually plagued by horrible acting and lame attempts at special effects. I Honestly was shocked to find "Cursed" to be just as captivating as "The Witcher". An elven girl finds out she has magical powers and helps her magical friends fight against the humans attempts to wipe out all ungodly magical creatures. I then proceeded to watch "Cursed" all the way to the end of season one. It was amazing the story line. Unfortunately I found myself in the same state of mind as when "The Witcher" season one had ended. Stumbling again to fill my time with any sort of entertainment that was comparable.

Luna Nera was my last find I decided stream on Netflix. Luna Nera is a foreign film converted to English, and I will tell you now that the synchronicity of words to lip movement isn't the best, but if you can get past it "Luna Nera" is almost on the level of the first two movies. "Luna Nera" follows the story line of natural born witches, in a time when Witch's where feared and hunted. The story line has the same idea as the first two Netflix streaming's that I viewed. Again the story line is about a girl and her little brother. Her mother was a witch and she was left with her grandmother. Her mother was being hunted because of her magical powers. Later a horrible incidents happens separating her from her grandmother. The girl and her little brother are launched into an adventure as they fight to survive. I was naturally disappointed at the end of season one.

I am still waiting for a season two for these shows. Unfortunately its been over a year and there had been no sequel to any of these . I am impatiently waiting. The more I think about it perhaps we can blame it on COVID 19, or maybe the movie producers are just teasing us and they know we dearly crave and encore to the stories Netflix has us streaming. These three shows have changed my mind about adventure shows and movies. I guess I will continue to impatiently wait and flip through my streaming apps for a new adventure.
